What Does The Wonderland Trailer Show?

The first Wonderland Official Game Trailer premiered on the ScaryPlay YouTube channel in June of 2024. That trailer provided us with our first look at the world of Wonderland. We saw some of the attractions of the Wonderland theme park.

The trailer also introduced us to Mr. Sun (rumored to be the main villain of Wonderland), and we even got to see some of the puzzles players will have to solve and the monsters that players will have to survive.

After that, the channel went completely silent. No major videos for over 2 years until they posted the Wonderland Final Trailer on August 7, 2026. The Final Trailer starts with a cut-scene that shows Mr. Sun and his partner talking to the player. Once that dialogue is over, we get to see more areas of Wonderland. We also see the Wonder Shop and meet some of the NPCs.

The Final Trailer also shows more puzzles and a device that is running a timer and showing three lives. We can also see the player using a mini-gun and fighting bigger monsters.

Weapons & Tools

One of the Sneak Peeks shared by the devs on the Discord server shows a Shop where you can purchase different weapons and tools in exchange for tickets. It is unclear how you will earn tickets, but it could be by solving puzzles. You can use those tickets to buy a Hammer or a Minigun. These weapons will be useful against some of the monsters.

The shop also sells a Map (a complete map of Wonderland) and a Stopwatch (which shows the remaining time before a special event occurs).

Puzzles & Obbies

Shown in sneak peeks as well as both trailers, puzzles will be a major part of Wonderland. You’ll have to solve puzzles to unlock more areas, earn a currency, and even survive/escape some of the monsters.

There will be lots of sequential puzzles, lever arrays, and mazes as well.

Apart from puzzles, you’ll also have to complete obbies to access certain areas and escape certain monsters.

Stamina System

There seems to be a stamina system in the game. Your stamina depletes when you sprint for prolonged periods. Walk normally, and the stamina starts to recover. The system is not too extensive, but it will definitely have a major impact on gameplay if you don’t manage your sprints right.

Up to 5-player Co-Op

In the Lobby, you can choose to play solo ot play as a team of up to 5 players. There are different sections for different player counts. Simply head into your desired section and sit on the roller coaster to start the game.

Is Wonderland Similar to The Mimic?

While Wonderland is created by two developers who worked on The Mimic (Muc and Ivas), the game plays very differently because of two major differences:

  • No Books/Chapters: Wonderland does not revolve around any books or chapters. Unlike The Mimic, which is inspired by Japanese folklore, Wonderland has a completely different lore and non-linear gameplay/storyline.
  • Randomization: One of the major differences between The Mimic and Wonderland is the randomization of Wonderland. Every run, the game randomizes events, monsters, and other aspects of the game. This means every session gives you a unique and fresh playthrough.

So, even though Wonderland is also an atmospheric horror game and is created by developers who worked on The Mimic, you’re in for a completely different experience when you play Wonderland.

Does Wonderland Have Paid Early Access?

No, Wonderland does not have any paid early access. If you see any games on Roblox using the Wonderland name and offering paid early access, make sure you avoid them completely and do not buy anything they are offering.
