Spear Fishing Mutations FAQs
Mutated fish can spawn in all locations in Spear Fishing, and you can catch them just as you would catch any other normal fish, using a Harpoon or a Speargun. Baskets can also catch mutated fish if they spawn near them.
Fish that spawn with the big mutation are a lot bigger in size than the base versions. If you want a big fish, look for fish that have a maximize icon (purple color with four arrows) floating over them.
Yes, you should catch as many mutated fish as you can in Spear Fishing because they not only sell for a higher price, but you also get Gems by discovering new fish mutations in the game.

Right now, there are three climates in Spear Fishing: Grassland, Marsh, and Iceborne. The climate changes every 10 minutes. Each climate has different fish that players can only catch when that climate is active. Moreover, Marsh and Iceborne Climate can also mutate fish.
