Lastly, the Trading Plaza has also been altered, with the key addition being that you can show off your favorite Brainrots.
The Futbol update in Steal a Brainrot brings about several key additions you do not want to miss. They include new Brainrots that make huge amounts of cash, special country traits, and improvements to the Trading Plaza. All of them are linked to the football World Cup, so you will rejoice if you are a fan of the sport. Stick around for our detailed update guide to find out more!
How to Get Country Traits in Steal a Brainrot

The Country Trait is arguably the most important addition of the Futbol update in Steal a Brainrot. To obtain it, any national team must score a goal in the Football World Cup. Whenever that happens, a live celebration will take place in-game. It will last for only 30 seconds, and Brainrots that spawn during that period will have a chance of acquiring that country's flag as a trait. All country traits carry a x5 multiplier, earning them five times as much money as their standard counterparts.
Since the acquisition period for these traits is very narrow, you would be well advised to keep track of the World Cup match schedule, prioritizing any games taking place at that exact moment. Thankfully, the developers of Steal a Brainrot have made this job significantly easier by adding the live match board. It is located right in the middle of the map, overlooking the conveyor belt where Brainrots spawn, right next to the Shop. It will keep track of all the World Cup games scheduled for that day, as well as their scores.
With that being said, it is easy to conclude that only the traits of the countries participating in the World Cup will be obtainable. Additionally, the admins are aware that some national teams simply won't score many (if any at all) goals, so they have confirmed that they will spawn those countries' celebration events at random, giving fans and collectors alike a chance to still get that country's trait.
How to Get the Futbol Brainrots in Steal a Brainrot?

There are three special Futbol Brainrots in Steal a Brainrot. They are the Hippo Golazo, Esok Goala, and Ref Ref Ref Sahur. The first two spawn live on the red carpet once a goal is scored in any World Cup match, while the third one also spawns live, but only when a red card is given to any player in the World Cup! Keep track of the in-game live match board to know exactly when they will spawn.
Regardless of whether you just want to increase your cash income or are a collector, these brainrots are definitely worth going for. Namely, Hippo Golazo makes $1.2 million per second, Ref Ref Ref Sahur $2.7 million per second, and Esok Goala a whopping $32.5 million per second! They will only be available for the remainder of the World Cup, so make sure to snag them while you still have the chance!
If you fail to obtain them during this period, you can always resort to the well-known method of stealing them from other players. To do this, keep joining different servers until you find the one where someone already owns it. Once you’re in the right server, equip your bat or slapping hand and wait for the owner’s base to become unlocked. When the opportunity arises, quickly enter their base, swat the owner away if needed, press E next to the football brainrots to take them, then escape immediately.
After you’ve grabbed them, your priority should be getting back to your own base as fast as possible. Placing traps in advance can help slow down or stop the original owner from chasing you, making it easier to secure your escape. However, even after successfully stealing them, you should stay alert because other players can just as well take them from you. If you want an easier experience, you might consider using private servers, where you can collect these brainrots without interference from other players, since they also spawn there as well as on standard servers.
Alternatively, if you have friends who are also playing the game, you can ask them to trade them to you using the trade machine.
What are the Updates to the Trade Plaza?

Several Trade Plaza updates have also arrived alongside the Futbol update. You can now show off your prized Brainrots by equipping them. To do this, click the Brainrot button on the left side of your screen once inside the Trade Plaza. This will open up a menu of all Brainrots that you currently own, and clicking them will summon tiny versions of them that will follow you as you move. Additionally, you can now communicate via signs that you open up by pressing the "1" key on your keyboard.
Last but not least, you can now also view existing counts of different trait combinations. To do this, interact with the glossary located in the middle of Steal a Brainrot's trading plaza and select all of the traits and mutations you want.
