How to Start the Hunt Mega Edition World Zero Event
The Hunt Token is a guaranteed drop from Gravetower's Past event dungeon in World // Zero. To enter the dungeon, join World // Zero from The Hunt lobby or through the game page, and then enter The Hunt portal next to the spawn. Completing the Gravetower's Past once guarantees you the Token. However, you can stick around and do more dungeon runs for some cool weapon cosmetics.
Gravetower's Past The Hunt World // Zero Event Dungeon Walkthrough
The Gravetower's Past event dungeon is pretty straightforward. You just have to follow the main road and defeat enemies on your way. After you clear an area, a gate will open up so that you can continue. As you progress, you will reach a circular open arena where you will fight the final boss of the Gravetower's Past dungeon. That was a summary. Now, let's dive deeper into the World // Zero The Hunt event dungeon.
Progressing Through the Open Areas
Most enemies along the main road of the Gravetower's Past dungeon shouldn't pose any threat to you, no matter what class you picked at the start. Still, pay attention so you do not get hit by Ghoul Knights, as they can turn off your class skills briefly. If you are confident, you can aggro all the mobs and then swiftly take care of them with AoE skills.
How to Defeat Anima, the Soul Dragon
By jumping down the slope at the end of the main road, you enter the boss arena of Anima, the Soul Dragon. The Hunt event boss in World // Zero has several melee and range moves. The best strategy is to stay close, pay attention to the green attack circles under Anima, and circle him constantly. By doing this, you will dodge most of its abilities.
At 50% HP, Anima will fly up in the air and start using ranged attacks. While it is flying, look for small green circles on the edges of the arena and stand in them as they will heal you. After the boss comes down, go in and DPS it as much as possible. After that, it's rinse and repeat until you defeat it. At the end, approach the levitating Hunt Token to claim your rewards.
How to get the Hunt Mega Token in World Zero
The Mega Token in World Zero requires you to have collected all of the six previous Mega Tokens:
For starters, in World 1, you have to go off the main path to the left towards some ruins. Right behind them is an entrance to a cave. Inside here, you will see three buttons and a bunch of things to do, which can get confusing. Here's what to do first.
How to Find All Crystals in World Zero
Your first task is to find three Gems in World Zero. To do this, step onto the button to the left and you'll see three images: Mountain, Boat and Castle. These are the three locations that you need to go visit. Since you're already underneath the Mountain, all you have to do is go back outside and climb.
Go to the right of the cave and climb up the side of the mountain. The Green Zero Crystal is right at the peak of the mountain, you can't miss it. Head down and go towards the windmill and further down the path until you reach the ships impaled on stones.
The Blue Zero Gem is on top of a stone, but you can't climb up it. Instead you have to go around and jump over. Make sure to use the dash by tapping W twice if you are on PC to make the gap in between all rocks.
The Pink Zero Gem is at the Castle. Head down towards the beach and keep going until you reach the toxic rivers of this area. Go up the bridge and to the entrance, but then jump down underneath the bridge. There's a cave entrance underneath it and you'll find the Pink Crystal in the corner.
With all of the Crystals collected, it's time to go back to the Mountain cave. This time, you should step on the right button to see the order of the three images. This will determine the order of numbers as well as the order of crystals when you input them in the middle.
- Tree - Green numbers and green Crystal
- Fish - Blue numbers and blue Crystal
- Flower - Pink numbers and pink Crystal
How to solve the Number Slot in World Zero
As mentioned above, the order of the numbers depends on the order of the images. So if Fish is first, then the blue number will go first. But how do you know which numbers to put in?
When you step on the button, you'll see numbers all over the walls. The white ones don't matter, you are just looking for the ones in color. So for example, there is a blue 4 and a blue 3 on the walls. You combine them into a 7, and that's your blue number. You do this with all three colors, just make sure to look around the room so that you don't miss a number.
Crystals are also organized by the image order. If Fish is first, then the blue Crystal goes in the first slot, and the same goes with others. Once you've placed everything where it should be, submit the code at the middle button. if it works, the gate will create a portal. Press the button again to be teleported to a boss fight for the Mega Token.
How to Defeat Altos, Zero Guardian of the Veil in World Zero
Altos has ice powers that can be pretty annoying to deal with and two stages. In the first stage, he'll focus on stomping you out and knocking you over with his ice. You can keep track of his powers by looking at your feet. There will be a blue line or circle heading from him to indicate his attack. Just like with Amina, there will be health sigils around you that you can heal on.
At 50% health, Altos will enter the second stage where he uses a one shot attack. You do have three lives, but it's always best to take cover. Once he starts charging up, follow the purple arrows to dash to safety behind a Zero Shield.
Once you defeat Altos, go to the huge vortex at the edge of the arena and you'll get the Mega Token.
