Where to find every weapon in The Rogue Prince of Persia

The locations and uses for all 9 main weapons in the Rogue Prince of Persia are included here. If you're looking for any of the weapons located in an Equipment Chest room, you may need to search several times as the chests can also contain new Medallions and Tools.

Double Daggers

Location: Starting Weapon

The Double Daggers are the weapons the Prince starts every run with. They are fast, close-range weapons. Tapping the attack button allows players to do a series of three quick slash attacks followed by one slower thrust. Holding the attack button and releasing it slides players forward, damaging enemies and stunning those with less than 50% health.

Royal Sword

Location: Available from the start

The Royal Sword is the first of the two weapons players come across during their runs. Its regular attacks are all slashes directed in front of the Prince. Holding down the attack button and releasing it will make the Prince release a flurry of slashes. It's a classic video game sword, one that I felt was simple and comfortable to use

Tabar

Location: Available from the start

The Tabar is the second of the two weapons players find in their runs from the start of the game. It is the heavy weapon of the three starter weapons, trading speed for power and reach. The final attack in a combo will stun the enemies it hits. Additionally, the special attack slams the axe down in one powerful swoop.

Spear

Location: An Equipment Chest in Zagros Village

Price in Forge: 70 Spirit Glimmers

The spear is a mid-range weapon with a long-range special attack. Tapping the attack button, has the Prince perform a slash, a jab, and a second slash. Holding the button down and releasing it will throw the spear in the direction the Prince is facing. While the spear is gone, the Prince will fight with his hands. The spear will return to the Prince's hands after a few moments.

Broadsword

Location: Available in Forge as soon as it is unlocked.

Price in Forge: 30 Spirit Glimmers

The Broadsword is the first weapon found after unlocking the Forge in the Oasis. It is a slower, more powerful version of the Royal Sword. Tapping the attack button allows the Prince to perform three wide, sweeping attacks. Holding the attack button allows the Prince to do a powerful vertical sweep in front of him. It knocks hit enemies into the air.

Whirling Spear

Location: An Equipment Chest in the Hun War Camp

Price in Forge: 70 Spirit Glimmers

This is a weapon good for short and mid-range attacks. The Whirling Spear makes two spinning-slash attacks followed by one jab. Holding the attack button does one short stab in front of the player that pushes the enemy back. Attacks that hit with the tip of the spear deal extra damage.

Bagh Nakh

Location: An Equipment Chest in the Aqueduct

Price in Forge: 50 Spirit Glimmers

The Bagh Nakh is a set of two claw-shaped weapons. It's perfect for fighters who like to get up close and personal with their enemies. Holding the attack button causes the Prince to perform two slashes followed by a jab. Holding and releasing the attack button has him dash forward while unleashing a flurry of attacks. Killing an enemy causes your next attack to be a flurry attack.

Falcata

Location: The Equipment Chest in the Tower of Oblivion

Price in Forge: 50 Spirit Glimmers

The Falcata is the fastest-striking sword available in Rogue Prince of Persia. Unlike the other main weapons, it has a special ability that increases its damage. An enemy will take an extra 10% of damage from the Falcata for 3 seconds every time they are hit by it. Continuously striking an enemy with this sword will cause this effect to stack up to 30 times. That makes this a great sword for taking on bosses and anything else you can hit multiple times in a row.
