A Beginner's Guide to Schedule I

Here I'll mention ways that I used as a beginner to boost income and product output in the early game of Schedule I. I will not include the basic know-hows in our Schedule I beginners guide as you will be introduced to them via the game's tutorial and hints.

How to Play Multiplayer in Schedule I

Schedule I supports up to four-players in co-op. You can invite your friends from the top-right corner of the main menu after launching the game. However, only your friends on Steam (PC) can play as the multiplayer game isn't available on other platforms yet.

How to Earn Money Fast in Schedule I

Find Buyers

The primary way to earn money and get rich in Schedule I is by selling your product to buyers. For that, you first need to gain the interest of potential buyers who will be marked on your map. Give them a free sample and if they like it, congratulations, you may receive an order text soon.

  • Schedule I potential buyer

Sometimes the buyer may not like your sample (see image above). Just give them the same sample the next day and they'll most likely accept it. Other buyers will be locked and you must level up your character and unlock new areas to sell to them (see second image).

Counter-offer

Upon getting an order, you can counter-offer on the phone and ask for more than what the buyer is offering. But don't be unreasonable as they may call off the deal. Stick by the recommended price and deliver on time to keep that client happy.

Cash for Trash Bins

You'll find small green Cash for Trash bins placed all across Hyland Point. Pick up the trash scattered around, drop them into a bin one by one, and then operate the machine to incinerate all the garbage. You can get small amounts of cash with this method, but it counts for beginners.

To do this more efficiently, grab a Trash Grabber ($20) from Dan's Hardware. Use this tool to pick up multiple trash pieces and earn anywhere between $15-$20 in one go.

Destroy ATMs and Vending Machines - Get the Baseball Bat

  • Schedule I Breaking Vending Machine

You can arm yourself for free with a Baseball Bat. You can pick it up from the Basketball Court north of the motel you stayed at. Hold left-click to swing the bat vigorously at any ATM or Cuke Vending Machine. The machine will go out of service before spilling some cash (I received $80 once). Don't take out every ATM as these take a few days to come back online.

Pickpocket NPCs

Pickpocket unaware NPCs by crouching behind them stealthily. This can give you some cash and even other items required for you to keep the production going.

Gamble at the Casino

If you're feeling lucky, visit the Casino between 4 PM and 5 AM to gamble your money. Make sure to bring cash that you can use to play Blackjack or Ride The Bus. This method is risky, hence, I advise showing restraint and leaving when you get on a losing streak.

How to Escape the Police in Schedule I

When detected by the cops during the curfew, keep running to stay out of their sight. Do so until the Under Arrest banner on the screen disappears. You can hide under the bridge near the Laundromat as I've found the police can't reach you there. If you get caught, everything on you will be confiscated and a hefty fine will be deducted from your cash balance.

How to Travel Fast in Schedule I

  • Schedule I skateboard shop
  • Schedule I skating

Every player should buy themselves the Golden Skateboard ($1,500) from the Shred Shack shop located near Dan's Hardware and Arcade. Skateboards are easy to use and can enter places a car cannot. Initially, you can get the Cheap Skateboard for $75. Once you have the money, cars are good for some extra inventory storage in their trunk.

How to Launder Cash for Schedule I Beginners

  • Schedule I rays real estate
  • Schedule I properties

Properties and Businesses can be purchased from Ray's Real Estate. Because only $10,000 cash can be deposited per day via ATMs, it's important to find other ways to launder cash. Buy the Laundromat ($4,000) first and Tacko Ticklers ($50,000) later to safeguard your money. While the former can launder $2,000 per day, the latter can do $8,000 daily.

Best recipes for good money in Schedule I

The game isn't only about selling buyers. To make the most out of your production unit, you need to try different recipes. Below are some OG Kash recipes discovered by the community that sell for a much higher price tag.

How to Hire Employees in Schedule I

Next, you should focus on hiring extra hands for your business to boost production. These workers can be recruited from the Black Market across Taco Ticklers (first image). This restricted area opens from 6 PM to 6 AM and is accessible when you reach rank Hoodlum V. Here, you can buy weapons and goods for manufacturing.

Schedule I features four types of employees that you can hire: Cleaner, Botanist, Handler, and Chemist. Besides the Black Market, you can also talk to NPCs until you find one who's ready to work for you.

Bonus tips for beginners playing Schedule I

  • Keep production as high as possible inside your small hotel room to meet the demand. Do this by purchasing several Grow Kits, Seeds, and other necessary raw materials.
  • Buy the Bungalow ($6,000) from Ray's Real Estate as early as possible for more space and production.
  • Keep experimenting to find profitable recipes that can boost revenue.
  • Get items home delivered by using the Deliveries app for a $200 delivery fee.
  • Expand your inventory gradually over time (like Granddaddy Purple)
  • Build contacts by having good relations with your sellers to reach even more clients and dealers.
