Does Sifu have Difficulty levels?

You want it harder or easier?

Sifu has been praised for its difficulty by many players. When Sifu was released, there was no option to make it easier or more difficult, but an update changed that. Players can now change the difficulty as of an update on May 3, 2022.

Sifu Difficulty levels

Below are all of the difficulty levels offered by Sifu and a brief description of what they change:

  • Student - Easy difficulty. Your character has more health and ages slower. The enemies don't fight as aggressively and use simpler combos.
  • Disciple - Normal difficulty. The classic Sifu difficulty was the default challenge for everyone who played before May 3, 2022.
  • Master - Hard difficulty. Your character has less health and enemies are far more aggressive. The fight patterns of bosses are also more complex.

A tweet detailing combat was released by the SifuGame Twitter, showing off the new features.

This new difficulty was alluded to in an interview with Sloclap's executive producer, Pierre Tarno. The success of Sifu and the love from its fanbase seem to have made this a reality.
