What does the Move Objects cheat do?

The Move Objects cheat is a modification to how furniture and item placement works when a player is using Build & Buy mode in The Sims 4. Normally, The Sims 4 is pretty strict when it comes to object placement. Items will snap to grid tiles and can be quite sensitive to detecting interference (meaning the game thinks items are in the way of each other).

When you activate the Move Objects cheats, the game no longer restricts the movement and placement of items. This can be quite useful if you want something specific in your build that the game is not allowing you to do. Keep in mind that, once you place items with Move Objects, the game can glitch and have issues since items are not being placed as intended.
