What do Promotion Cheats do?
Promotion Cheats do exactly what they sound like they do, which is to say they take your Sim from the current level they are at with their job to the next highest rung. These can be used when you are short on time, if you are trying to recover unsaved progress, or for any other reason you may want to cheat your Sim's job status.
How to use Promotion Cheats
To make Career Cheats work, you'll have to open the cheat command console in the game. To do this and enter the cheat, follow these steps:
- Hit Ctrl+Shift+C
- Type in testingcheatstrue
- Write out or copy/paste the cheat you'd like to use
- Hit Enter on your keyboard to confirm the cheat
