Puddle Slimes prefer resting in water pools as their only diet is fresh water. Furthermore, these are shy creatures and stop producing plorts when near three or more slimes. They'll evaporate if put out of the water for a short while. You can keep Puddle Slimes at the ranch and house them in a Corral, however, they will need a fresh water supply to survive and produce plorts.
