Gravity Launches new roguelike game ‘Wetory’ October 26 on Steam & Nintendo Switch!

Global game publisher Gravity is set to captivate players with the release of its new roguelike sensation, Wetory, slated for launch on October 26 at 12pm KST on both Steam and Nintendo Switch platforms.

Wetory is available worldwide via Steam and the Nintendo eShop and is available in 17 languages, including English, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

Wetory combines 3D action and roguelike elements within its vibrant cartoon-style universe, challenging players to master tile maps, overcome obstacles, and outmaneuver enemies with strategic finesse.

Dive into an epic quest as you control a unique character who uses the paint oozing from their feet to reclaim the stolen colors of the world from a nefarious villain. Each color has its own unique effect, allowing the players to use a variety of skill trees that take advantage of their attack attributes. In addition, easy controls and interesting strategy make the game even more fun.

Battle in Wetory takes an innovative turn, inviting players to engage with the environment itself. Instead of traditional combat, players manipulate a dynamic tile map as their battlefield.

Players initially wield two potent colors: red and black. Standing on a tile drenched in red triggers an eruption of paint, launching attacks in the character's direction.

Meanwhile, black paint fuels the dash gauge, granting players the agility to evade assaults and navigate through barriers with swift precision.

It's a tactical dance of colors, requiring quick thinking and strategic prowess.

As players progress through the game, they acquire various colors of paint, each unlocking unique skills and playstyles that they can strategically leverage to navigate stages and master a diverse skill tree, teeming with distinctive properties.

Victorious stage completions reward players with treasure chests brimming with random items, enhancing their arsenal and allowing for personalized attack attributes.

Since its reveal, Wetory has earned spots in the Top 10 Best Indie Games at Gamescom 2022 and was a finalist at the Tokyo Game Show 2022. It was also awarded the most popular game at the BIGS Indie Game Show for two consecutive years.
