Charming but deadly...

If you're playing the brutal slasher family in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, then you're going to want to feed Grandpa as much as possible to use all the Grandpa abilities, but you'll also want to make sure you properly utilize each character's special ability as well. Johnny is the sadistic tracker of the family, and his abilities can make it so much easier to locate your prey. Here are some ways you can build up his perks and attributes to reach his full potential.

Johnny is particularly skilled in tracking down the Victims by using their footprints and tracks. He also happens to be one of the strongest, alongside Leatherface, and can deal some major damage with his attacks. To maximize his natural ability, you're going to want to choose attributes and perks that can extend his strength and tracking. Here are some of the best build options I found the most useful:

Best Attributes for Johnny in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Johnny already starts with higher Savagery due to his natural strength and bloodlust, so I found it better to continue to max this trait for him even more. You'll also want to focus on more stamina for him so he can more easily follow tracks and catch up with the Victims that he has located.

Attributes can be leveled up by collecting Attribute Points from the Skill Tree and then placing the points in the field that you like. These are some of the best attributes for him:

  • Savagery: Determines melee attack damage.
  • Endurance: Determines the Family's total stamina capacity, along with stamina drain, regen rate, and melee attack frequency.

Best Perks for Johnny in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Johnny has a unique perk that is great for allowing him to use his main ability more often, but there are some other perks you can equip to him as well that will allow you to maximize his strength and help you to track more efficiently.

Remember, you can only equip three perks at a time, and you'll need to unlock them via the Skill Trees, so you'll need to choose wisely. You can also create multiple loadouts to try different ones at any time. Take a look at some of the best below:

  • Patience: Standing still will reduce your ability consumption rate by a percentage.
  • Feral: Savagery is increased by multiple points.
  • Hysterical Strength: When below 15% stamina, you deal more damage.
  • Punishment: After finding a Victim in a hiding spot, extra damage will be dealt.
  • Easily Tuckered Out: Your attacks use less stamina, but the regen rate is slower.
  • I Smell Blood: Your proximity range is increased to help you stay focused on the last Victim.

These are just a few of the best perks and attributes that I found the most effective for Johnny. However, you can mix and match any of the above or create multiple loadouts to try them all out and find the one that is the best for your playstyle.
