We've all been there—having to create a new password and getting bombarded with requirement after requirement. Someone decided this is the perfect backdrop for a game, and so we have The Password Game by Neal Fun. If you're not familiar, the game puts you through a series of increasingly more difficult password requirements, including the agonizing Rule 9.
How to Complete Rule 9 in The Password Game - What Roman Numerals multiply to 35?
I have discovered two possible solutions so far to getting past Rule 9 in The Password Game. You can place these anywhere in your password, so the order does not matter at this stage. These are the solutions:
- XXXV
- V & VII

What makes this challenging is you cannot use Roman Numerals other than the ones listed below (outside of the solutions above), or it will throw off the equation.
- V - 5
- X - 10
- L - 50
- C - 100
- D - 500
- M - 1000
It does not matter where you place the correct Roman Numerals in your password; you can separate them or keep them together. It is important not to add other Roman Numerals later on, or you will invalidate Rule 9. That said, the Roman Numeral I is fine to use, as it will only multiply the total numbers by one.
The Password Game rules will only get harder, so be prepared. You'll receive various challenges that require different solutions and test the limits of your patience and problem-solving. Good luck; I hope to see what passwords you come up with!
