Beginner's Guide to Turbo Golf Racing

Don't be afraid to go slow

While you aim to get your ball in the goal first, sometimes it is better to slow down and line up your shot rather than just go full speed. Your ball can bounce into various objects or surfaces that can affect its trajectory or stop it outright. By slowing down, you have time to react.

Keep your boost full

Boosting is important, and you have a limited supply of boosts. But you can refill your boost meter in various ways, including:

  • Boost pick-ups
  • Boost pads
  • Hitting the ball
  • Your ball rolling into boost pick-ups
  • Gliding

Using a combination of these and plotting your path will let you keep your boost meter relatively full more often.

Remember to glide

As stated above, gliding is an essential way to get boost back. It also gives you better air control, and you can use it to hit the ball in different ways. You can even avoid bunkers by jumping, dashing, and gliding over them to prevent being slowed down.

Equip Power Cores

As you progress, you can unlock and equip Power Cores. These give you passive bonuses or abilities that you can activate. Once you start unlocking Power Cores, we recommend learning what they do and swapping them out to find which works best for you.

Practice makes perfect

You may not be scoring holes in one or placing first right off the bat, but you improve your skills by using the solo modes before hopping online. Getting good at Turbo Golf Racing will take time and practice, but remember to have fun along the way.
