We ranked the cards based on their overall strength, taking into consideration the bonuses and unlockable skills they provide to your character. Also, we decided not to rank Rare cards for two reasons: none of them have unique effects, and they are really weak even when you level them up fully. So, focus on getting a few SSR and SR cards early on, and you will be set for a while.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby Support Card Stat Tier Lists

In the above tier lists, you can see how Umamusume: Pretty Derby Support Cards fare against other cards of the same stat. Now, when training a new character, you will want to focus on two stats for the most part. By picking two Support Cards of each stat, followed up by either Aoi Kiryuin or Tazuna Hayakawa, you have a reasonable basis for training a decent character.

As a general rule, it is a good idea to train your characters according to their strengths. For example, suppose you are training a character that is good at long-distance races. In that case, you should be focusing on increasing their Speed and Stamina. Therefore, you will want to equip Speed and Stamina Support Cards to maximize these stats. The only time when you won't be doing this is very early on, as your collection of good SR and SSR support cards will be limited.

Obtaining New Support Cards

You can get new Support Cards in Umamusume: Pretty Derby by scouting them on Support Card banners and by completing Story chapters. Each pull on the scout banner costs 150 Carats and gives you one Support Exchange Point. After you pull on the gacha 200 times, you can exchange those points for any of the SSR Support Cards.

You can get select Support Cards for free by completing the main Story chapters. However, you will need an already-trained character because some chapters require you to win races with them.

How to Upgrade Support Cards in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

You can upgrade Support Cards by uncapping them using identical cards and by leveling them up using SP and Moonies. Uncapping raises the maximum level of a Support Card, while leveling up increases the bonuses given by it. At levels 30 (SR), 35 (SSR), and 45 (SR and SSR), Support Cards provide additional bonuses.
