Vampire Survivors' second set of DLC, Tides of the Foscari, added a ton of new content to the shoot-'em-up, including new characters, stages, weapons, and their evolutions. One such weapon, Shadow Servant, is one of the most broken yet and must-have for dominating enemies. Here's how to get and evolve Shadow Servant into Ophion in Vampire Survivors.

Shadow Servant is Genevieve Gruyère's starting weapon, but unlocking her isn't enough to add the weapon into the general weapon pool for other characters to use: you must meet a specific requirement first.

How to unlock Shadow Servant in Vampire Survivors

To unlock Shadow Servant for every character, you must survive for 15 minutes with Genevieve Gruyère on any stage.

Once 15 minutes is up, quit your run to open the stage summary screen, where you'll receive an achievement and a notification that Shadow Servant has been unlocked into the general weapon pool.

How to unlock Genevieve Gruyère in Vampire Survivors

Before you can unlock Shadow Servant, you need to unlock Genevieve Gruyère. To do this, you must use Eleanor Uziron to break the Seal of the Banished on the Abyss Foscari stage, after which the character will unlock automatically and become purchasable on the Character Select screen.

Genevieve Gruyère costs 5,000 Gold to unlock, though that price scales depending on how many other characters you've purchased previously.

How to evolve Shadow Servant into Ophion in Vampire Survivors Tides of the Foscari

To evolve the Shadow Servant weapon into Ophion in Vampire Survivors, you must max out its level at level eight. It also requires a fully-leveled Skull O'Maniac (level five).

With both items at their level cap, open up a Treasure Chest, and Shadow Servant will evolve into Ophion.
