How to get Lance in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns DLC
To get Lance, you must create Prototype A by upgrading Long Gun. To do this, you'll need to know the weapons evolution recipe. Choose Bill as he starts with the Long Gun weapon. Follow these steps to evolve Long Gun and unlock Lance and his Short Gun.
- (optional) Unlock Bill by finding his coffin in the upper-right corner of the Neo Galuga stage. After you unlock him, quit that session so you can play a new one with him to unlock Lance.
- Upgrade Long Gun to level 8 (maximum) - to do this quickly, avoid taking other weapons and passives. This way, with each level up, you'll be able to upgrade Long Gun more often. Focus on your mission to get Prototype A if you want to quickly unlock Lance in Operation Guns.
- Pick up a Weapon Power-Up located around the level. If you open the map, you'll see them shown as gray briefcases (see image below). You don't need more than one, so don't bother looking for them after you secure one Weapon Power-Up.
- Look for treasure chests—you need them to complete evolution, as that's the only way to receive Prototype A. Now that you have this weapon, you can either continue fighting at this stage or quit and focus on unlocking other characters like Ariana, who have guns as default weapons.
