Deep in the Warp... I am looking for some love...

Who can you romance in Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader?

It is confirmed that among the plenty of new companions to accompany your galactic conquistador in Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, some will be romanceable by your character. Yet, as the tradition of RPG games dictates, not every character will instantly fall for your dashing Lord Trader, as certain individuals will have particular gender preferences. Below, I compiled a list of all party members confirmed to be available for romance.

Character NameRomanceableBy whom
Abelard WerserianNo-
Cassia OrsellioYesMale
Heinrix Van CaloxYesFemale
Idira TlassNo-
Jae HeydariYesBoth
MarazhaiYesBoth
Pasqal HaneumannNo-
Sister ArgentaNo-
UlfarNo-
Yrliet LanaevyssYesUnknown

It comes as no surprise almost half of the characters in your party will not be romanceable, considering the grim-dark setting of the Warhammer 40k universe, where unsanctioned relationships can so easily be taken for heresy by a particularly overzealous inquisitor. Although this could be a moot point, considering you have a Drukhari and an unsanctioned psyker in your party, both of which account for extra-heresy in every imperial decree.

An interesting bit of background trivia is that ship navigator Cassia, while technically a mutant, is tolerated by Eclessiarchy due to the Imperium's desperate need for ship-fairing capabilities her house provides. She will definitely be this game's main star, as a magnificent statue of her is included in the exclusive Rogue Trader Collector's edition package, and her being romanceable won't hurt her chances of winning over some Trader hearts, either.
