In Winter Survival, exploring the wilds involves sneaking past several predators including Wolves. These creatures can hunt you down within seconds so you need to know how to fight and obtain resources by eliminating them. Here's how to find and kill wolves in Winter Survival.
How to fight Wolves in Winter Survival
Wolves are predators commonly found in the wilderness in Winter Survival. You can sneak past these creatures by hiding in tall grass which is an effective strategy to avoid fighting while these predators move in packs. However, you'll also find these Wolves isolated in the wilds which is the best time to attack them. To eliminate Wolves you can Impale them by using Spears. Likewise, you can also throw Spears at predators.
A Sharpened Softwood Stick works perfectly for Impaling Wolves and other wild animals. This is the best technique, but keep in mind that your weapon gets destroyed after you use it. I recommend crafting a few of them before exploring the wilderness to hunt animals. Additionally, carry a knife to harvest resources from wild animals after eliminating them.

The best way to search for creatures around the wild is to use the Instinct mechanic. While using Instinct, your character gets to see thermal imagery of the land, highlighting creatures, resources, and other items in the periphery. This method allows you to locate and hunt creatures easily, but it depletes stamina rapidly. Make sure to sneak behind the enemies or find a proper vantage after using Instinct.
