How to catch squid in Wylde Flowers

A slippery fellow, indeed.

Wylde Flowers allows you to catch a variety of different fish. Of course, some of these underwater creatures are a bit harder to come across than others, which can lead to frustration on the player's end. This is especially true in the case of the elusive squid.

To catch a squid, you must fish using Chub at the Countryside Beach. Squid aren't as rare as they seem, just a bit tricky to pull up. Just throw your line out whenever you spot a lobster-shaped shadow in the water, and wait for it to bite before trying to reel it in.

Statistically, you should be able to get a squid every three casts Just keep pulling in those crustacean-shaped shadows, and you should have one in your inventory in no time.

Once you catch your first one, sell it to Bruno. This lets his shop sell squid, making it much easier to pick one up and get ink out of it. The fishing in Wylde Flowers is a bit slow, so it's best to only do it when you absolutely need to catch a fish.
