Yu-Gi-Oh is easily identifiable as one of the most popular CCG, and while nothing beats opening a new pack of crisp cards, the game has been available digitally for quite some time now. The latest entry in the online Yu-Gi-Oh series is Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel which was released on Jan. 18 for nearly all consoles, leaving some wondering if there is cross-progression.
The answer is yes—Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel does feature cross-progression, though you will have to work for it. Rather than standard cross-saves, you will need to use the data transfer tool to ensure that your data goes from one device to another. This uses your Konami ID to transfer your data.

You will need to complete the tutorial and create a user name before accessing the data transfer tool. Then, go to the options menu to find the data transfer. Select this and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Konami ID and Master Duel information.
When starting Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel on a different platform, you will be warned about pre-existing data and the data transfer function. Once prompted, open the options menu from the title screen and transfer your data using your Konami ID. Once you have done this, you are all set to go! Just remember, you can only be logged into one device at a time.
