Fortnite Blitz Royale is a fast-paced game mode with a lot of old yet popular weapons available in the loot pool, so we're going to help you decide what to loot and which weapons are worth your time.
Each Blitz Royale match lasts for around 5 minutes at max, with everyone dropping on the island with a basic set of loot. Technically, you don't need to loot your way through the different storm phases if you're quick enough, but weapon rarities come into play here. So, the better the rarities of the weapons you have in your inventory, the higher the chances of your survival. Since the matches are fast-paced, not all weapons are suitable for use. So, here's a list of weapons that you should be focusing on!
Best Weapons to Use in Fortnite Blitz Royale
Before we go on to the list of the best weapons, we'd like to clarify that the guns we mention below are based on their highest available rarity. Additionally, Exotics and Mythics are the best possible weapons that you can have, but they're extremely hard to come by. So, we'll be leaving those out of this list as well. That said, here are the ones that you should pick, for the best shot at a victory royale in Fortnite Blitz.
1) Killswitch Revolvers

Dual wielding a weapon is probably the coolest thing to do in Fortnite, and it doesn't get more cooler than the Killswitch Revolvers. You will find these weapons as normal floor loot, across multiple rarities. They hit hard, provided you can aim properly.
But what makes them truly stand out is the fact that you get a special hang time ability while using them. When you trigger it, you slowly fall through the air, letting you target enemies easily. They've got a higher rate of fire than most of the regular single-wielding handguns, and work at close to mid-ranged encounters. If you find one, make sure to keep it in your inventory.
2) Twinfire Auto Shotgun

Despite being difficult to use, the Twinfire Auto Shotgun is a wonderful choice of weapon that you should keep in your inventory. You can fire up to 14 rounds before reloading. Each round fires 12 pellets in a packed spread, which is tighter if you're aiming down the sights. Since the map is small, you'll face a lot of enemies in close-quarters combat.
And while other weapons can function well in tight spaces, the Twinfire Auto Shotgun will guarantee you an elimination in three to four shots, provided you can land all pellets. When using this weapon in Fortnite Blitz Royale, be sure to aim at the chest for best results.
3) Hyperburst Pistol

The Hyperburst Pistol is yet another handgun that makes it to the list of best weapons to use in Fortnite Blitz Royale. While most handguns don't pack a punch, the Hyperburst Pistol makes up for the lost damage with it's firing speed. Since you get three round bursts with every trigger pull, it's something you should keep in your inventory, because switching to a fresh weapon is quicker than reloading your current one.
Its three round burst makes it easy for you to land headshots as well, if you can use it's rather basic recoil pattern to your advantage. To make matters even better, it's a hitscan weapon with first shot accuracy, so if you point at someone's head when you take the first shot, it'll always be a headshot.
4) Veiled Precision SMG

The Veiled Precision SMG is probably the most accurate SMG that Epic has added to Fortnite in a long time. This weapon is lethal and can shred through enemies, especially in close to mid-ranged encounters. It's one of the few weapons to have first-shot accuracy enabled, meaning your first trigger pull is always accurate.
It's got a high rate of fire, and unlike the other SMGs currently available in Fortnite Blitz Royale, the damage fall off for this weapon isn't that high either. It drops to around 86% of the total DPS when the enemy is approximately 95m away. This is the lowest the damage gets, which is still high compared to some of the other guns in the game.
5) Fury Assault Rifle

The Fury Assault Rifle isn't a high damage weapon, but it's made its way to the list thanks to its high rate of fire. It also comes outfitted with a speed mag, so switching to a different weapon is faster than normal. While it'll never be able to outperform the Auto Shotgun in close range combat, it's still a beast in mid-ranged encounters.
In fact, it makes a good duo with the Auto Shotgun. You can close in on the enemy while firing with this weapon, and then finish it up with the Shotgun. It's an effective strategy, and can help you win matches if you execute it properly.
Snipers and the Spire Rifle don't make the cut unfortunately, because you won't be indulging in long-range encounters a lot. However, don't rule them out completely. Remember, in Fortnite Blitz Royale, having a bad weapon is better than having no weapon at all.
Weekly Weapon Highlights in Fortnite Blitz Royale
For this week, you can try out all the Bending Scrolls that were added during the Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration. While some of these items are mobility-oriented, the water bending scroll terrorized players when it was in the game, and is likely to do so once again!
