How to obtain the Gem of the Forest in 99 Nights in the Forest

Firstly, you have to understand the fact that Gem of the Forest is not a single item that is available by default, like Carrots or Wood. Instead, you have to collect something called Gem of the Forest Fragments and combine 4 of them to create a single Gem of the Forest.

So, how do you get the Gem of the Forest Fragment? Well, the Fragments are obtained as a drop reward by killing the Cultist or raiding the Cultist Stronghold. The early level Cultist, like the one who appears during Day 4, doesn't drop the Fragments, and only Cultists that appear above Day 90 have a chance of dropping the Fragments. Therefore, you must survive for an extended period to witness this happening.

If you are going the Stronghold route, you first need to find a Cultist Stronghold. Simply look for a Diamond symbol on your map with the exclamation symbol (first discovery). Once you locate one, you must go there and eliminate the Cultist on all three levels of the Stronghold. Since this is highly challenging, it is better to go as a party of two or three, along with medium- or long-ranged weapons. Here, after clearing the third floor, you can loot the prize room, which usually has a Gem of the Forest Fragment.

How to combine Gem of the Forest Fragments in 99 Nights in the Forest

Once you have the Gem of the Forest Fragments, you can simply keep one above the other until the four Fragments fuse to make a single Gem. Yes, there is no special mechanics or use of the Crafting Station to make it into a single entity.

What is the use of Gem of the Forest in 99 Nights in the Forest?

As mentioned earlier, the Gem of Forest is mainly used to craft the Level 5 Crafting Station, which in turn can produce the following items.
