Geodes are unique loot items that you can get in Prospecting. They might seem impossible to find at first, but once you know how they look and where they spawn, you'll be getting them in bulk in no time. To help you with the search, here is our guide on how to find geodes in the Prospecting Roblox experience.
Where to Get Geodes in Prospecting Roblox

Geodes are unique items in Prospecting because, unlike ores, you don't pan them out, and instead, you pick them up with your shovel off the ground. They spawn around many areas on the map, and you'll recognize them as unusual rocks that glow with an area-related color. To pick up a geode, walk over it and use your shovel. You'll see in the bottom right a notification that a geode was added to your inventory.
How to Open and Use Geodes

Geodes that you pick up will be added to your inventory. To open a geode, equip it from your inventory and then press the use key (LMB on PC). Once you open a geode, you'll get a few ores (from the area where the geode is from) or a bunch of Meteor Shards. If you get ores, there is a chance for them to get the unique Crystalline modifier (3x value). Ores with the Crystalline modifier can only be obtained from geodes.
Prospecting Roblox Geodes FAQ
The best area to search for geodes is the Volcanic Sands. Geodes from the Volcanic Sands can drop really good items, and there is an abundance of them all over the area.
Do geodes spawn in every area in Prospecting?
Yes, geodes spawn in every area. However, they are most abundant in outdoor areas, on sandy terrain in particular.
Is there a way to get geodes fast?
The best way to farm geodes is to increase your Capacity and lower your Dig Strength as much as possible. That way, your scoops won't fill your pan as much, and you won't have to pan often to empty it. Also, shoveling in a different area will reset your pan, allowing you to collect geodes again.
Now that you know both where to look for geodes and what you can get out of them, it's time you launch Prospecting on Roblox and start collecting and opening them! Who knows, maybe you'll get some insane ores out of them!
