How To Get New Badges in 99 Nights in the Forest

There are four new badges in the Volcano Biome, each tied to unique tasks. Here are all the badges and how you can get them in 99 Nights in the Forest:
Badge Name | Requirements | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Resourcefulness | Complete a Mystery Action in the Volcano Biome | x3 Blue Flame, +5 Diamonds |
Pest Control | Kill 100 Scorpions | Volcano Statue Furniture, +5 Diamonds |
Metaworking | Collect 50 Ammo at the Ammo Furnace | x3 Blue Flame, +5 Diamonds |
Volcanology | Make 150 Sacrifices to the Volcano | Lava Fountain Furniture, +5 Diamonds |
The 'Mystery Action' involves sacrificing the corpse of a teammate to the Volcano. This unlocks the badge and lets you claim the rewards once completed.
How To Sacrifice To The Volcano in 99 Nights in the Forest

The Volcano is the main point of interest of the new biome and lets you exchange cultist corpses for random loot. Cultists spawn throughout the biome, and once defeated, you can store and take their corpses to the Volcano for sacrifice.
Rewards from sacrificing include, but are not limited to:
- Cultist Gem
- Gem of the Forest Fragment
- Crossbow
- Infernal Sword
If you want to collect all the rewards, be sure to save as many Cultist corpses as possible. Sacrifices also count toward the Volcanology badge, so farming them is doubly useful.
All New Weapons And Items in Volcano Biome
The Volcano Biome has also added new weapons, blueprints, and storage items hidden in chests, such as the newly added Infernal Chest, and earned through sacrifices.
- Infernal Sword - A flame-based melee weapon that sets enemies on fire instantly. Ideal for farming cooked meat and raiding Cultist strongholds.
- Crossbow - A decent ranged weapon dropped through Volcano sacrifices or chests.
- Wildfire - A new fire-based weapon available in Infernal chests. Sets areas on fire by spawning Lava.
- Infernal Mine Blueprint - Used to craft a powerful trap that deals fire damage.
- Infernal Sack - A storage item with 20 slots, giving you more carrying capacity.
There’s also a rare chance to spawn a Diamond Tree in your camp (1 in 10,000 odds). Cutting it down with a Chainsaw yields 5 Diamonds, making it one of the rarest finds in the game.
