There are many weapons in Megabonk, each perfect for a different kind of build and best suited for a different character. One weapon might seem OP in a certain build, but it will feel completely useless in another build. That’s why we’ve put together this short guide that will tell you exactly how to unlock all weapons in Megabonk. So, let’s dive right in!
How to Unlock All Megabonk Weapons
If you want more and better weapons to spawn during your runs, you’ll have to unlock and purchase them first. Unlocking some of the weapons is necessary to obtain some of the characters, too. So, if you’re up for the grind, the table below shows where to focus.
Seven weapons (Flamewalker, Sword, Lightning Staff, Firestaff, Chunkers, Bone, and Bow) are unlocked by default, so they won’t appear in the table below.
Weapon | How to Unlock |
---|---|
Revolver | Kill 7,500 enemies. Use any weapon on any map. All types of enemies count. Costs 1 Silver. |
Aegis | Block 500 damage with Armor as Sir Oofie. Costs 1 Silver. |
Bananarang | Find a hidden banana that randomly appears in all tiers of the Forest. It will permanently unlock the Bananarang, which is also required to obtain Monke. Costs 1 Silver. |

Best Weapons in Megabonk
As mentioned above, every weapon in Megabonk is good in one way or another. However, there are a few meta weapons that work well with every character and every build, and we've listed them below:
Weapon | Reason |
---|---|
Aura (Megachad's Weapon) | The best AoE weapons in the game. Superb for quickly farming XP during enemy swarms. |
Revolver (CL4NK's Weapon) | One of the few weapons that you can actually aim. Has superb base stats and only gets better with upgrades. Breaks the game when used in a CRIT-based build. |
Sword (Sir Oofie's Weapon) | Works equally well with every character and, with a few Attack boosts, becomes one of the best weapons in the game due to high damage and knockback. |
The developer has shared plans to add more weapons in Megabonk with future updates. If that happens, this list will be updated accordingly. While you’re here, also check out How to Unlock All Characters in Megabonk.
