A new type of Chemical Reaction Called Rivals Reaction has been added to Blue Lock Rivals. Indicative of its name, this can be triggered between two players of opposite teams, rather than allies/teammates, which usually takes place during a Chemical Reaction. So, if you are a NEL Isagi user and have found a NEL Rin player on the enemy team, it is time to trigger a Rival Reaction.
How to get the NEL Isagi and NEL Rin Style in Blue Lock Rivals
Before going ahead to learn about the actual Rival Reaction method, let us first get a NEL Isagi or NEL Rin Style in Blue Lock Rivals. To obtain one of these styles, open the Style menu and start rolling for them using Lucky or standard Spins. Since these are World Class Rarity Styles, you have to use Lucky Spins even to have a remote chance of obtaining the Styles, as the odds are stacked at 2.5%(Lucky Spins) vs 0.25%(standard). Also, before spinning, select one of the two styles under the Rarity menu to enable the preference system. That's it, keep rolling until you obtain one of these Styles in the title.
How to perform the NEL Isagi X NEL Rin Rival Reaction
To perform this Rival Reaction, a NEL Isagi should be near a NEL Rin with the ball, and vice versa, an ability will appear. When clicked, a cutscene will play where they both clash. At the end of the clash, there is a 50/50 chance that one player will get the ball, while the other player breaks their ankle. Remember, this cutscene can only be triggered during a match and cannot be replayed.
