Raise Animals Cretaterra Biome Guide

The Cretaterra Biome is permanent in Raise Animals, much like the Jungle, Savannah, Ocean, and Tundra Biomes. If you want the Cretaterra Biome to spawn during your run, you first have to unlock it.
- Tap on Play and then click on the Map button to see all biomes.
- Scroll all the way down and you’ll see the Cretaterra Biome.
- To unlock it, you have to purchase it with $5,000,000.
After purchasing, the biome will unlock and start spawning randomly during your run. The Cretaterra Biome is very similar to the Jungle Biome in appearance. However, due to the bigger size of the dinosaurs and the obstacles, it feels slightly more difficult to navigate.
Along with catching different dinosaurs, you can also pick up eggs if the Egg Fall event spawns during your run. Read on to learn more about it.
How to Get Dinosaur Eggs in Raise Animals
To get Dinosaur Eggs, you need to play the Egg Fall event. The Egg Fall event has a chance of spawning when you’re passing through the Cretaterra Biome in Raise Animals. When this event spawns, dinosaur eggs will fall down from the sky (similar to how pumpkins fell down during the Pumpkin Fall on the Halloween Biome). Run through those eggs to break them to receive:
- Rubies - 70% Chance.
- Dinosaur Eggs - 30% Chance.

You can hatch the eggs to obtain high-rarity animals without having to tame them during a run. The pod also lets you fuse low-rarity dinosaur eggs into high-rarity dinosaur eggs. Scroll down for a detailed guide on the Incubator Pod.
All Animals in Cretaterra Biome
The Cretaterra Biome has 10 new animals for you to catch. See the table below to learn more:
| Animal | Stats / Passive | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Mosasaurus (Exclusive) | Speed: 12 - 18 Passive: Every 30s, enter a 15s rampage to break obstacles and eat animals. Every time an obstacle breaks, gain a speed boost and slow down nearby animals. | Only obtainable from Tier 4 Eggs (10% Chance) and Tier 5 Eggs (15% Chance). |
| Tyrannosaurus Rex (Shine) | Speed: 18 - 20 Passive: Roar inflicts fear in nearby animals, slowing them down and providing a speed boost to your T-Rex. It can also eat afraid animals. | Ride a Spinosaurus for 120 seconds to spawn the Tyrannosaurus Rex. |
| Spinosaurus (Rainbow) | Speed: 22 - 25 Passive: Enters rage for 15s after every 30 seconds for +20% speed, smash obstacles, and eat animals. | Catch in the Cretaterra Biome. |

How to Use the Incubator Pod in Raise Animals?

The Incubator Pod is located in the Lobby, left of the distance leaderboard. It can be used to:
- Hatch Dinosaur Eggs: Hatch eggs from the Egg Fall event to obtain dinosaurs. After collecting eggs from the Egg Fall event, go back to the Lobby and interact with the Incubation Pod to start the hatching process. Only one hatching spot is unlocked by default. You can unlock more using Rubies or Robux. This is the easiest and cheapest way of getting duplicate dinosaurs in Raise Animals.
- Fuse Dinosaur Eggs: Fuse different eggs from the Egg Fall event to create better eggs and obtain high-rarity dinosaurs. If you get duplicate eggs, you can fuse them to create eggs for higher-rarity weapons. However, you will need plenty of Dinosaur DNA to perform fusion.
- Exchange Dinosaurs for DNA: Bring your dinosaurs and exchange them for Dinosaur DNA, a currency needed to fuse eggs. Once you’ve caught different dinosaurs, you can buy duplicates from the Animal Shop and exchange them for Dinosaur DNA at the Incubation Pod.
Raise Animals Ancient Weather Events
Three more Weather Events have been added to Raise Animals with the Ancient Update, called the Meteor Fall, the Prehistoric Storm, and the Bioluminescent Night.
- Meteor Fall: Applies the Meteor mutation and increases your animal’s value by +800%.
- Prehistoric Storm: Applies the Prehistoric Storm mutation and increases your animal’s value by +1,000%.
- Bioluminescent Night: Applies the Bioluminescent mutation and increases your animal’s value by +1,200%.
You can learn more about the other Weather Events and their effects in our Roblox Raise Animals Mutations Guide.
Raise Animals Ancient Update FAQs
You can use the Fuse Egg option on the Incubator Pod to turn your lower-tier eggs into higher-tier ones. You’ll need at least 500 Dinosaur DNA to perform one fusion.
To fuse Dinosaur Eggs in Raise Animals, you need Dinosaur DNA. You can get Dinosaur DNA by exchanging your dinosaur pets at the Incubator Pod. Instead of exchanging the dinosaurs you catch, buy duplicates from the Animal Shop and trade them to quickly earn Dinosaur DNA without losing your pets.
No, if you start the mini-game with the Spinosaurus, the T-Rex will not spawn after 120 seconds. To spawn the T-Rex, you must start with a different animal, wait for the Spinosaurus to spawn, and ride it for 120 seconds to spawn the T-Rex.
