The team behind Anime Rangers X has been hyping up the newest Halloween update for a while now, and even though Halloween has past, I have to say I've been looking forward to seeing the patch notes and playing the game again. From the update log, it doesn't seem like they'll disappoint, but let's do a deep dive!
Anime Rangers X Update 10.0 New Units & Secrets
It's standard to expect new units in an Anime Rangers X update (how else would TD games thrive?), but you can look forward to a total of twelve new units, both Evo and Unevo as a late Halloween celebration.

Apart from the many units that you'll have to grind for, you'll also get to participate in a new secret quest, which usually leads to some fun and cool rewards.
New Anime Rangers X Halloween Adventure Mode Fright Fest
In the ARX Halloween update, you'll get to try out the Adventure Mode Fright Fest, where you get to fight off 25 waves of enemies on one path. Apart from getting a bunch of Candy (the main Halloween currency) by completing this event, you'll also be able to acquire limited-time Fright Fest units as well as their Evo materials. If you aren't too confident in your team yet, you can end the run after wave five and collect a smaller number of rewards. However, if you are ready to take on the challenge, you can get double the rewards, but the enemies will will also be 1.25x stronger.
Fright Fest Halloween Shop
You can spend all of the Candy you get from Fright Fest at the Halloween Store. None of the items are cheap, but it is worth the grind. You'll get additional Evo Materials, Trait Rerolls, Stats Keys and more. I suggest grinding and purchasing the evo materials first, before spending your money on all of the cheaper items.
New ARX Kurumi Boss Event
In order to get the ARX Koromu limited unit, you will have to participate in the new Boss event. There is a limited number of shiny units (a total of 1.5k), but you can still get the regular unit if you are lucky, along with the several other items:
- Koromu x1 (3%)
- Trait Reroll x2~5 (33%)
- Stats Key x1~3 (100%)
- Dragon Ball x1 (1%)
- Devil Soul x1 (0.5%)
The Boss challenge is a Nightmare difficulty, with the boss having a large pool of health, so make sure to set up your best team if you want to even hope of getting her.
New Limited Legends Battlepass
With feedback from the community, ARX offers a Limited Legends Battlepass which will be available from November 12 to November 26, 2025. With it, you will be able to obtain some of the most community-voted limited units which aren't available in the standard banner rotation.

- Red Moon Passive now deals 50% damage every second for 3s (150% Total Damage) on basic attacks [Pre-Red Moon Buff]
- Red Moon passive now deals 100% damage every second for 3s when Red Moon is active
- Red Moon passive now lasts for 30s with a 50s CD
- Hana (Full Release)
- Ability damage multiplier increased to 5x
- Increased health for all upgrades
- Increased damage for all upgrades
- Changed price values for all upgrades
- Flesh-Drops now deals 30% damage every second for 5s (150% total damage)
- Cursed Love
- Final upgrade damage increased
- Cursed Speech buffed to repulse for 3s every 3 attacks
- Special Grade cap increased to 50%, now gains 5% damage every 3s
- Love of the Curse now activates when Cursed Love is below 50% & Increases ability damage by 150%
- Last Survivor
- Reduced placement cap to 1
- Buffed damage for all upgrades
- Buffed health for all upgrades
- Changed price for all upgrades
- Virtual Swordsman (Stardust)
- Changed price values for all upgrades

There hasn't been a clear end date specified by the team behind Anime Rangers X, but we can assume it will last for at least two weeks, starting from November 12,2025.
If you want to get the shiny Koromu unit, you will have to be fast. There is a limited number of 1.5k shiny units which you can get from the Kurumi Boss event.
Fright Fest, the new Adventure mode, is the place to be. If you are underpowered, you can end a run after wave five for fewer rewards (but rewards nonetheless).
