There are plenty of abilities that can be acquired in Hypershot, but some offer much more potential than others. While all of them are perfectly usable, the better abilities will allow you to make certain plays that are simply impossible to execute with lesser ones. Some abilities are so strong that they will entirely change the way you play Hypershot! The best Abilities should provide you with a significant competitive edge, so we have made this Hypershot Ability Tier List to guide you to whichever Ability is most suitable for you!
The good thing about Hypershot is that almost anyone can acquire some of the best abilities within only a couple of hours of playing, since even one S-tier Ability and many of the A-tier ones are not that expensive. With that said, the best abilities in Hypershot are: Infinity Edge, Inferno Tornado, and the Volt Orb! Still, the first two are significantly harder to obtain as you can only get them by spinning the Lucky Wheel.
However, this does not mean that other Abilities cannot be utilized to a great effect, far from it! Given their low price, some of these abilities can serve as a great stopgap solution until you have gotten your hands on some of the better and more expensive ones. Other lower-rated abilities will work great in synergy with higher-end ones. A good example of this would be the Auto Reload and Overdrive.
S Tier - The Best Abilities in Hypershot

![]() Inferno Tornado Cooldown: 15 seconds | Shoots forward a Fire Tornado that damages, stuns ,and flings enemies into the air An ability best fired at a cluster of enemies or at places where they are hard to reach, the Inferno Tornado will cause immense mayhem and easily set you up for a multitude of kills, as the unfortunate enemies will be left stunned and defenseless! Be wary of the lengthy cooldown though. Good ability to combo with this one would be Overdrive. |
![]() Volt Orb Cooldown: 13 seconds | Shoots forward a bolt of electricity. Activate again to teleport to the orb A favorite of ours, the Volt Orb allows for some amazing plays as you can essentially teleport behind large concentrations of enemy forces. This allows you to get the jump on them and easily annihilate them! Costing only 10.000 gems, its best paired with abilities which offer high DPS like Overdrive and Auto Reload. |

This will allow you to always fight on favorable terms. A short cooldown enables you to always stay on the move! Works with pretty much any Ability. |
![]() Photon Shield Cooldown: 12 seconds | Equips you with a shield that blocks ALL damage equal to 50 HP A self explanatory ability, the Photon Shield will allow you to stay alive longer in tense situations, allowing you to get that extra kill or escape danger. Pairs well with any Ability aside from Transcend. |
![]() Transcend Cooldown: 15 seconds | Makes you invincible and grants you additional movement speed for a short period of time Another movement Ability, Transcend also allows you to avoid incoming damage. Works well in both offensive and defensive situations. You will have to manage it carefully, as it has a hefty cooldown. A great tactic would be to pair it with some melee ability such as Infinity Edge. |
![]() Overdrive Cooldown: 15 seconds | Increases your rate of fire and reload speed for 7 seconds A fan favorite with a good reason, Overdrive essentially gives you extra firepower, useful in all situations. When combined with mobility Abilities such as Volt Orb, allows you to make plays devastating for the enemy team! It also costs only 7.000 gems, so there's that as well. |
![]() Arcane Fist Cooldown: 15 seconds | Punches in any direction, with a direct hit dealing 200 damage. Deals splash damage too Arcane Fist can be oppressive in right situations as it allows you to one shot an opponent! Pair it with mobility Abilities for a devastating effect. |
![]() Shattering Hex Cooldown: 10 seconds | Shoots forward a hex that marks enemies, causing them to take double damage for 4 seconds Do you want to see your enemies melt? if you answered yes, use this ability in combination with Overdrive. Simply mark your enemies with the Hex, activate Overdrive and enjoy the fireworks! If you want to be extra devious, use Volt Orb to teleport into clusters of enemies. |

Re-activation of the ability makes the grenade explode early An ability which allows to sow chaos among the enemy team, the Blast Grenade will surely knock enemies out of cover and into your line of sight, allowing you to pick them off. |
![]() Exploding Peels Cooldown: 12 seconds | Throws forward 5 banana peels that explode after up to 1 second. Direct hits will make the peels explode instantly Exploding Peels are best utilized in chaotic situations with a lot of enemies, where the large amount of peels you deploy can act either as landmines or just deal solid damage if they connect directly. Be mindful of the cooldown! |
![]() Throwing Kunai Cooldown: 4 seconds | Throws out 5 kunai knives, which deal 75 damage to the body and 200 to the head If you run out of bullets, the Throwing Kunai can really come in clutch, as connecting with them at close range will almost certainly net you a kill. |

C Tier - Decent Abilities

![]() Bombardino Cocodrillo Cooldown: 12 seconds | Calls in Bombardino Cocodrillo to bomb an area Useful against groups of enemies behind cover, Bombardino Cocodrillo is easily dodged, but will nonetheless force enemies to change positions. It is great if it actually connects, but it should not be relied upon. |
![]() Boom Truck Cooldown: 12 seconds | Remote-controlled truck with TNT attached Boom Truck can be useful against large groups of enemies, but it can be dodged easily, just like the previous Ability. At least it has an element of surprise to it, as the truck is fairly small. This is more of a meme ability than anything else. |
![]() Glider Cooldown: 12 seconds | Equips a glider midair More of a utility tool, the Glider will allow you to move in unexpected ways. |
D Tier - Starting Abilities

A self-explanatory ability, Tailwind will allow you to move quicker for a short period of time. It's better than nothing, but there are many better abilities out there. |
![]() Updraft Cooldown: 6 seconds | Makes you jump high into the air Another simple ability that is better than nothing, but should be replaced as soon as possible. |
How to change the Ability in Hypershot

To change your ability in Hypershot, simply follow the steps below:
- From the main menu, navigate to the Loadout tab on the left side of the screen and open it.
- Press Edit on one of the loadouts you are currently using.
- Navigate to the Abilities tab on the left side of the screen and open it.
- All of the abilities will be listed, so you can buy and equip the one you want.
Hypershot Ability Tier List FAQs
The best ability is Infinity Edge, but skilled players may find more success with Volt Orb, as it allows for some devastating, unpredictable plays.
The only way to currently obtain Infinity Edge is to collect 3 Legendary Items from the Lucky Wheel. Those items are Ion Godslayer, Magic Spellbook, and a Lightning Case. Once you collect them, you will get the Infinity Edge for free!
Volt Orb can be purchased for 10.000 gems.
