Terminal 13: Not Human Second Shift Walkthrough (Chapter 2)

The Second Shift has started, but can you survive it?

The Second Shift of Terminal 13 will have you work at a road checkpoint rather than at an airport, so if all of the new objectives are confusing to you, you can read our full walkthrough on it. We'll talk about how to recognize all of the Imposters, complete all objectives, and avoid certain death.

How to Recognize Second Shift Imposters

Just like with the Airport job, you will have to process all people who approach your checkpoint and figure out if they are a Human or an Imposter. The process is similar to how it worked at the first job, but the biggest change is the fact that you have to process multiple people in the same car. It can get tricky, which is why we are here to help you recognize all of the Imposters during Second Shift. We will separate it into two sections, the first one being the Driver, and the second one being for all of the Passengers.

Note that multiple people in a car can be an Imposter. You should shoot all of them, since that gives you more money. Once you start shooting, both Humans and Imposters will run for the hills, so make sure you shoot every single suspect.

Important Info: The Second Shift in Terminal 13 Not Human is a bit buggy. The developers themselves said that they dropped the update with missing features and possible bugs due to being sick. They will drop patches in the upcoming days, so we will update our text accordingly once they do.

Driver

The Driver is the one that will be providing you with any form of ID. That means that this person is the one you can question the most. Here's everything you can look out for.

  • Name: Standard issue, if the names don't match on the driver's license and what the person says, then they are an Imposter. This only works for the Driver, however, since the rest of the people from the car won't have any IDs.
  • Birthday: A common hint that the Driver is an Imposter. They will usually mention a year quite a few hundreds of years prior, which is a dead giveaway, since they should be dead by now.
  • Job: For this question, the visitors will usually not give you a clear answer. For example, if the ID says that they are a Construction Worker, and the person says: ''I trained as an electrician, but I mostly do labor now''. This person isn't outright saying they are a construction worker, but you can extrapolate from what they said.
  • Origin: Sometimes vague answers, but you can easily figure this one out.
  • ID Photo: If the photo on the ID doesn't match the person, then this is an Imposter

All Passengers

Apart from the Driver who has an ID, there are multiple other ways you can check out if a Passenger is a Human or a Visitor, and we're here to list them all.

  • Purpose: Inside your office, you can check out the Screen next to the window which will tell you the information from the car's last checkpoint. This contains information on Purpose, so if they changed the answer from then to here, that means they are an Imposter.
    • Another note, the last checkpoint only gives you one Purpose, so if the passengers state multiple, you will have to investigate further. If you have cleared the Driver, then use that person as a reference point.
  • Duration: Just like with Purpose, you can check the last checkpoint data and find what the Duration they stated previously is. Same as above, make sure the passengers all match up to either the computer or each other. If one (or several) doesn't, then they could be an Imposter.
  • Disfigured Face: This one is again a bit difficult to figure out, since not all the passengers have an ID photo. Once you've played multiple shifts, you'll get used to who looks weird and who looks normal.
  • Scary Noise: Normal people don't have demonic voices! If you hear the quite literal spawn of Satan speaking to you, that means it's an Imposter. However, note that the strange sound will keep happening throughout the investigation, so it isn't always the person you are talking to. Walk around the people to try and pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from. We suggest headphones for this.
  • Strange Walk: For this one, you'll have to run out in front of the office before they leave the car. I suggest just staying outside during the Shift, since it can save you some time going back and forth. Just make sure to avoid being hit by the car. It doesn't really damage you, but the ragdoll is quite funny and annoying for how long it takes for you to get back up.
  • Strange Speak: This one is familiar from the Airport section. If you can't read whatever the person is saying, or if the text is backwards, then that person is most certainly an Imposter. You don't even need to check further, just go on to check the other passengers so that you don't miss out on some Imposter shooting money.

What are the Best Items to Buy

There are four Items which you can purchase in total from the Ordering menu inside your office, but not all of them are worth it.

Item & PriceDetails
Judgement
$60
A Shotgun which breaks down after a few shots. It's not really worth it for the money, considering you have an infinite bullet Shotgun already which you can use on Humans, Imposters, and Monsters alike.
Beartrap
$40
Somewhat useful, but not that much. You can put it in front of the window next to the Printer to grab the Imposter that comes at you after the Printer objective.

However, they do fall flat on their face after climbing in through your window, so you might not even need it.
Music Box
$50
The Music Box can distract the Monsters but only briefly. For that steep of a price, you can just run the Monsters around your office and juke it through windows.
Scanner
$85
The most expensive item in the shop, but also the most useful. The Scanner is, in my opinion, even more useful here than at the Airport, since you will have multiple people to check each time. Just missing one can cause a catastrophe, so scan away!

You can also purchase a Revolver, as well as a Troll Banana and a Jumpscare for the whole lobby, but these all cost Robux. The Revolver is worth it only if you want to show off, and the Banana and Jumpscare only work if you are playing in a lobby rather than Solo.

All Monsters in Terminal 13: Not Human Second Shift

The roadside checkpoint has stepped up its Monster game, so you'll have multiple creatures that will be gunning for you after specific objectives. It's best if you gun them down first, though keep in mind not all can be harmed.

The Corrector

The Corrector works in the same way as the Entity from your first job. If you let an Imposter through, the Corrector is coming to, well, correct you. It will come from the beginning of the road towards you. I suggest staying inside the office until it enters, and then jumping out the window next to the Emergency Button. You can bait it to the window, and it will get stuck in an animation trying to get to you through the window (which it can't), and trying to go back outside to go around towards you.

This is a great way to cheese it without any harm coming your way. It might get patched out later, but for now, enjoy the hilarity of the Corrector being stuck as you pummel it with shotgun shells.

Employee

The Employee can show up in two instances. First, when the power goes down, you will have to go all the way to the back to restart it. Once you do, it will start chasing you. It's important that you don't stop, since shooting it won't do anything. Just run back to the office and it will disappear.

The second instance when it can shows up, there will be a threat hiding somewhere at the checkpoint. That includes the power building in the back as well. Check the dead tree across from it, as it hides behind it and can blend in pretty well. Shoot it to ensure your safety.

Window Imposter

At some point during your shift, you will have to fix your Printer. As soon as you are done, back away from the window since an Imposter will climb through it. You can place a Beartrap underneath it, but it isn't necessary. The Imposter will fall first, giving you enough time to get your bearings and shoot it. It might take a few shots.

Car Imposters

You might also get a call from someone asking for your help to check their car, which is stranded all the way at the beginning of the road. Make your way over there, but be prepared to start running back once they start chasing you. Just make it to your office, and you will be safe, just like with the Employee.

The Scientist

While the first shift ended with the Boss, the second shift ends with the Scientist. The lore is still unclear, apart from the fact that the Imposters seem to be giving us these jobs to learn how to adapt. Hopefully, in future updates we will find out more.

How to Get Free Items

As we mentioned above, you can purchase items in Terminal 13 Second Shift, but can you get them from free just like in the first airport shift? At the moment, this isn't possible. You can collect the green goop left by killing an Imposter, but there is no goop collector this time that will reward you for cleaning up with either money or an item. Since the update is missing some features, this might be something that will be added in a patch soon.

Second Shift FAQ

Can I get free rewards?

You can get daily login rewards in the lobby, but you can't get any free rewards during the second shfit since there is no goop machine to collect it and give you rewards.

Can I jump into the hole?

While it is fun to watch the cars fall down into the hole once you reject them, you can't jump in yourself. Perhaps at some point. We are very intrigued.

What is the best Item to use in Second Shift?

Apart from your handy Shotgun, you should purchase the Scanner. It will make it easier for you to figure out Imposters, since there are multiple people per car.

How many Night Shifts are there?

Just like with the Airport terminal, you will play three Night shifts, surviving all Imposters and Monsters that come your way.

Are Imposters randomized?

Yes, the Imposters in all shifts of Terminal 13 are randomized. That means that you can never immediately know when a person is an Imposter just by recognizing the name or in-game model. You have to base your judgement on research instead.
