Not sure where to put your Stat Points in Solo Hunters? The popular Roblox action game features an RPG-lite system with six character stats you can upgrade to make your character stronger. However, the game doesn’t clearly explain what these stats actually do. In this guide, I explain which stats are best to upgrade in Solo Hunters and what each one does. Also, I'll explain how Stat Crystal and Perfect Stat Cube work.
Solo Hunters Stats Explained - What Every Stat Does
Every time you level up your character in Solo Hunters, you’ll earn a certain number of Stat Points, which you can use to upgrade any of the game’s six core character stats. These stats make your character stronger overall, allowing you to progress further as you gradually become more powerful.
However, in-game, you can’t actually see what each of these stats improves. That said, the developers have shared this information on the game’s official Discord server, so here’s what each Solo Hunters stat does in terms of improving your character.
- Strength – It upgrades your physical damage with a weapon (upgrades M1 attack).
- Defense – It buffs your total Health and improves your damage reduction (you take less damage from enemy attacks).
- Energy – Each Stat Point invested in Energy increases your Energy bar, allowing you to Dash around more before depleting your Energy.
- Agility – Investing Stat Points into this stat increases your movement speed, making you run faster. However, keep in mind that it does not affect your attack speed.
- Magic Power – Increases your Ability damage, and improves your special powers in general.
What Are the Best Stats to Put Stat Points Into in Solo Hunters?
Now that you know what each stat does gameplay-wise, let’s take a look at the best stats to increase in Solo Hunters. In general, for beginners and during the early game, the best stats in Solo Hunters to invest Stat Points into are Strength and Defense. Focus on upgrading these two evenly until you get around level 50.
That’s because in most early game runs, you'll use physical M1 weapons, not abilities, meaning you need to prioritize M1 damage and survivability. These may sound like the most basic stats, but they’re objectively the best ones to upgrade if you want to min-max your character.
Agility is generally useless, as it doesn’t improve attack speed, while Energy isn’t very effective in combat either, since you won’t be dashing that much while fighting, at least in my experience. Later in the game, once you are level 50 and above, you can start putting your Stat Points into Magic Power, as you'll start using your abilities much more compared to the early game.
How to Reset Stats in Solo Hunters

So, you’ve learned what the best stats are, but you’ve already invested your Stat Points into a non-optimal build? Don’t worry, you can reset your stats in Solo Hunters and get all your Stat Points back to reallocate them, this time more efficiently.

If you’ve redeemed Solo Hunters codes, you should have received a Stat Reset reward, which allows you to perform one free stat reset. Use it wisely, though, as this is currently the only free way to reset your stats. Here's how to reset your stats:
- In-game, click on the green Stats button.
- From the Stats screen, click on the yellow Reset button at the bottom (only works if you have avilable resets).
- Confirm your decision.
- This will restore all previously spent Stat Points so you can reuse them.
And that’s it, your stats are now reset to Level 1, and you can reallocate all your Stat Points as you see fit. Choose wisely this time around!
Solo Hunters Stat Crystal and Perfect Stat Cube

If you want to reroll your weapon stats and have no free resets left, you’ll need to purchase either a Stat Crystal or a Perfect Stat Cube from the Merchant NPC in the main square. Keep in mind that they cost 7,500 Gold and 30,000 Gold, respectively. These items are NOT for your character stats; they can only be used for weapons and other gear!

And with that, that’s all you need to know about the stats in Solo Hunters. Keep in mind that the game has just launched in Early Access, meaning changes to its systems (including stats) are likely to be introduced in future updates. It goes without saying, but I’ll immediately update this guide to reflect any such changes.
