The latest update to My Fishing Brainrots brought lots of cool, interesting, and useful changes to our beloved game. The admins have really been hard at work on this one, as the update includes a new Extinct Event, a new weekly Machine, a simplified Upgrade System, and plenty of other additions. All of them bring a lot to the table and will undoubtedly make your journey to becoming a master fisherman that much easier. So, if you want to find out everything about it, make sure to stick around for our My Fishing Brainrots Extinct Event Update Guide - Gold Machine, Upgrade System & More!
My Fishing Brainrots Extinct Event

The main addition in this update of My Fishing Brainrots is the Extinct Event. The event is at the very edge of the map, opposite the Shops, and the fastest way to get there is to take the conveyor belt, which runs through the middle of the map.
The gist is that you will have to earn a special currency called Skull Coins. You do this by placing the appropriate Brainrots on the platform on the right side of the area. The game tells you exactly which Brainrots you need, and their shadows are located on the platform itself, so collecting them will only be a matter of time and patience. Once you have acquired all three of the Brainrots required, you will be able to redeem the Skull Coins.
The Skull Coins you have just acquired can be spent in a variety of useful ways. Firstly, there is an egg spawning conveyor belt similar to the one at your base. It is located at the far side of the event area, and you can utilize it to acquire powerful Brainrots with the latest Extinct rarity. This is very important, as rarity can stack with other Mutations, turning your Brainrots into absolute powerhouses when it comes to making cash.
Secondly, there is an Exctinct Merchant towards the left of the area, where you can buy plenty of useful potions by spending the Skull Coins. The potions increase your Luck (the chance for rarer Brainrots to spawn) and your cash income. However, the most useful thing you can get is definitely the Magmatic Remote, which you can use to activate the Magmatic Weather effect at will, which makes some of the Brainrots that spawn have the Magmatic mutation! Be prepared to play a lot in order to unlock it, though, as it costs a whopping 50k Skull Coins!
Lastly, there are also Event Upgrades, located right next to the Extinct Merchant. The most notable thing you can get here is the Skull Coin Boost, which will increase the amount of Skull Coins you get when turning in the 3 Brainrots at the aforementioned platform.
My Fishing Brainrots Gold Machine

The Golden Machine is another useful addition to My Fishing Brainrots. It is located on the main island, and you can get to it by teleporting through the blue portal located at your base. The machine's main use is to turn Brainrots without any base mutations into Gold or Diamond versions of themselves. Be extremely careful when using the machine, as it can also make your Brainrots disappear entirely! To reduce the chances of that, you can put in multiple copies of the same Brainrot (up to three) and also increase the chance of making them Gold or Diamond in the process. Keep in mind that the machine only takes in Brainrots without any base mutations.
My Fishing Brainrots Quick Upgrades

The developers have heard the players' pleas and have added the Quick Upgrades to My Fishing Brainrots. Everyone knows you can level up the Brainrots that are fishing in your base, and now you can do it much more efficiently! Next to the green level-up button beneath your Brainrots is a new blue button with an arrow. Clicking it opens the Quick Upgrades menu, where you can upgrade by 5, 10, 20, or even 50 levels with a single click! With this addition, the tedium of spam clicking the green button to level up your newly acquired Brainrots has been entirely eliminated.
My Fishing Brainrots Tsunami Event

The Tsunami occurs periodically and is a great way to make some quick, easy money. A huge wave will randomly rise and sweep through the entire map! This is not a harmful occurrence but rather a very useful one, as the tsunami will wash ashore plenty of cool fish! You can then collect these fish for an instant cash boost, ranging from billions to even quadrillions of in-game dollars! Make sure to always keep an eye out for tsunamis, which should not be too hard, as there will be a 20 second notice in-game before it happens.
My Fishing Brainrots Radioactive Spin Event

Last but not least, we have the Radioactive Spin wheel. It is located in the middle of the map, across the update board and Rainbow Cannelloni. It offers some cool rewards, the main one being the new Centrucci Nuclucci brainrot. Obtaining him will be very difficult, as his drop rate is only 1%. Other rewards include Potions, Luck Boosts, a Cash Boost, and the Cool OG Block, which drops a random powerful Brainrot when opened. To obtain the Radioactive spins and Regular spins, you can also input some of the codes.
My Fishing Brainrots Extinct Event Update Guide - Gold Machine, Quick Upgrades & More FAQs
The best reward from the Extinct event is the Magmatic Remote, which you can purchase from the Extinct Merchant for 50k Skull Coins.
The Golden Machine will be available for six days from its release, until February 13th.
The best reward is definitely the new Centrucci Nuclucci brainrot, which will earn you a lot of cash.
Sadly, the Brainrots you lost this way are unrecoverable. You can prevent this from happening in the future by placing more copies of the same Brainrot inside the machine.
