99 Nights in the Forest has added a brand-new Fire Modifier update that changes how events are triggered during your survival runs. Instead of relying purely on random night events, you can now force specific invasions and events using special flame types. Once activated, these flames alter your campfire's behavior and trigger certain events. Here’s everything you need to know about unlocking, using, and getting every Fire Modifier in 99 Nights in the Forest.
How to Get Fire Modifiers in 99 Nights in the Forest

Fire Modifiers are obtained exclusively through Daily Quests. Currently, the second and third Daily Quests each reward one random Fire Modifier. There is no way to purchase them with Robux or other in-game currencies. After the update, you might already see one or more Fire Modifiers in their inventory even before completing new quests.
However, completing Daily Quests is the only way to earn more. To access your Fire Modifiers, you need to craft the newly added Supply Crate from the Workbench. The Supply Crate costs 3 Logs to build. Once placed in your camp, it allows you to access your permanent inventory items, including Fire Modifiers and Toys.
How to Use Fire Modifiers in 99 Nights in the Forest

After placing the Supply Crate, interact with it to open your permanent inventory. Select the Fire Modifier you want to use and press the Use Item option. Once activated, a notification appears confirming which flame has been applied to your campfire. The modifier immediately affects the current run.
Before you use any fire modifiers, do note that only one Fire Modifier can be active at a time. Moreover, using a Fire Modifier consumes that item permanently, and the effect applies to the current game session only. Choosing the right modifier can completely change your early game, especially Night 3, when several invasion events can occur.
All Fire Modifiers and Their Effects

Now that you know how to get and use the Fire Modifiers on your Campfire, you should also know which Fire Modifiers are available in 99 Nights in the Forest. So, below are all currently available Fire Modifiers:
| Fire Modifier | Effect |
|---|---|
| Meteor Flame | Guarantees the Meteor Shower event on Night 3 |
| Alien Flame | Guarantees the Alien Invasion event on Night 3 |
| Frog Flame | Guarantees the Frog Invasion event on Night 3 |
| Halloween Carnival Flame | Guarantees the Halloween Carnival arrives on Night 3 |
| Blue Flame | Rain reduces the Campfire at a slower rate |
Event-based flames are ideal if you are farming specific invasion rewards or testing out event mechanics. Whereas the Blue Flame is more resource-saving and useful in rainy weather runs, where campfire maintenance is difficult.
