How to farm Money in Garden Horizons

The main purpose of Garden Horizons is to expand your garden and plant collections. These actions cost in-game cash (Shillings), and you will have to learn how to farm money in order to make progress.

Firstly, once you start the game, you will be given an empty plot of land and a tiny amount of money to start off. The first order of business will be to purchase some Carrot Seeds from Bill who is running the Seed Shop, located in the central hub of the game map, and is also accessible via a shortcut located on the top of the screen.

Secondly, you will want to plant the carrots you have just purchased. Wait a couple of seconds for them to grow.

Quick Tip: The rarer the plant you are growing is, the more time it will take for it to grow. The early game plants such as carrots do not take long to grow, so you should not concern yourself with that when you are freshly starting off.

At the start, make sure to purchase single-use plants for the best cash flow back into your own pocket. When you've gained enough, you can then start working on the multi-harvest plants like tomatoes.

Garden Horizons features a ripening mechanic, so even though you can pick up the plant immediately, you absolutely shouldn't. This mechanic works on the principle that the longer the plant is in the dirt, the more ripe it will become, earning you much more money when you try to sell it, for up to 3.0 times the value of the unripe version of the plant.

This only works while you are online, so do not expect your plants to become ripe while you are not playing the game. Furthermore, plants which have mutations attached to them will also earn you more money than their base counterparts.

So the best thing you can do to farm money in Garden Horizons is purchase as many single-harvest seeds as you can, plant them, wait for them to turn Lush, as well as get at least one or two mutations on them before you sell them.

Important Information: The Seed Shop offers reset every five minutes, so make sure you visit it often for a chance of buying better and rarer plant seeds which make more money.

Quests are another core game mechanic in Garden Horizons. You can interact with them via the quest board which is located in the central hub, alongside all the shops and overlooking the fountain. They are separated into daily and weekly quests, which change accordingly, with weekly quests usually being more difficult since you have more time to complete them.

The quests mostly revolve on planting a certain number of designated plants, harvesting them and earning money. The rewards for completing them range between simple cash prizes, Gardener seed packs and, the best of all, the Dawn seed packs. The seed packs are definitely the ones you should be keeping and eye out the most, as opening them can reward you with some of the best plant seeds currently available in Garden Horizons. The Dawn seed packs will mostly be found as rewards for Weekly missions.

All Weather events in Garden Horizons

Just like many other games in Roblox, Garden Horizons features a plethora of dynamic weather events. They include the likes of Rain, Fog, Snow, Starfall and many others. They are very important, as all the plants grown during this time will get an appropriate mutation, which will make them earn much more money than their basic counterparts. Weather changes often coincide with seed shop restocks, so you can keep track of them that way.
