If you want to find out all the details about them and more, you have come to the right place as we have compiled this useful Quest Guide.
Garden Horizons Botanist NPC Quests

We have mentioned that the new NPC is a botanist, and she is located in the middle of the map, overlooking the fountain and alongside other shops, precisely next to Molly's gear shop, so she should not be too difficult to spot. She is called Maya and she offers several quests with some very valuable rewards.
Her quests will revolve around you bringing her mutated plants, roughly between a kilogram or two in weight. Keep in mind that you cannot just bring any mutations of your choice, they have to be precisely the ones she is requesting from you. You can always check check the exact mutations by talking to her and selecting the third dialogue option, the one which asks her what she needs.
So far it seems that required mutations differ from player to player. We personally have encountered the Foggy mutation, but other players have come across the likes of Snowy, Chilled and Soaked.
Garden Horizons Botanist NPC Quest Rewards
As Maya is working for the IGMA research company, it is only appropriate that the reward she offers has something to do with it as well. Namely, upon completing her quest she will provide you with a special IGMA Seed Pack, which drops some unique Seeds, the full details for which you can find below.
- Biohazard Melon (54% drop rate)
- Lablush Berry (30% drop rate)
- Starvine (12% drop rate)
- Radiant Petal (3.5% drop rate)
- Octobranch (0.5% drop rate)
Garden Horizons Miscellaneous Additions

Along with the new NPC and her quests came plenty of other things that are worth noting in Garden Horizons.
Firstly, a cool new gear has been added and it is called the Trowel. It is a legendary utility tool which costs $250k cash and will allow you to pick up the seeds you have already planted and replant them elsewhere. If you were dissatisfied with the look of your garden, especially if you misplaced one of your more valuable seeds, now is your opportunity to make it look just like you have always wanted. However, we advise strategic usage of the trowel as it is extremely expensive and very hard to come by in the shop. For best chances of buying it, make sure you visit the gear shop as often as you can as it restocks every couple of minutes.
Secondly, two more legendary seeds have also come to Garden Horizons. They are the Bamboo and Mango seeds, and they cost $175k and $10M cash respectively. So far it is only known that the Bamboo is a single harvest plant and that it has a measly 1% chance of actually spawning in Bill's Seed Shop. Acquiring them, however, is sure to bring you massive amounts of money once the time to sell their fruits comes. Again, we suggest revisiting the shop often as it periodically restocks, and you will need to take advantage of any chance you can get to acquire them.
