Here, you can exchange C$100,000 for S$1. That is the current conversation rate and may increase or decrease in future updates. I personally feel it is slightly on the high side and is only useful for players with billions or more. So, if you have a lot of money lying around in the game, you can use it to buy Shady Scrip.
Completing Shady Bazaar Quest
Apart from exchanging currency, another way to get some Shady Scrip is to complete the quests offered by the multiple NPCs inside the Shady Bazaar. Yes, unlike NPCs on the main islands, NPCs in the Shady Bazaar reward the player with Shady Scrip instead of Money (Coin). I suggest starting with the Shady Angler before moving on to others. Most of the quests are pretty easy and can be easily completed if you are a mid to intermediate-level player.
Interaction with NPC inside the Shady Bazaar
If you are entering the Shady Bazaar for the first time, you must interact with all the NPCs in the area to earn some Shady Bazaar. Yes, each interaction almost guarantees 1 to 3 Shady Scrip. So, go around the area, and greet each one of them to get some Shady Scrip for free. Sometimes, you have to perform specific tasks to get the Scrip. For example, if you meet the Companions Dealer NPC, she will ask you to equip a particular pet before giving you some Shady Scrip. Usually, these tasks/interactions have a time interval before you can once again get some free Scrips.
How to reach the Shady Bazaar in Fisch
To get the Shady Scrip in Fisch, you must first reach the Shady Bazaar. For this, you must take up the Todd quest from Moosewood, which revolves around finding the Watchman, Lantern Figure, and Diver NPC who will hand over the Crown Feather Charm, Tarnished Lantern & Barnacled Hook items required to open the Moosewood Trapdoor that leads straight to the Bazaar. After that, you must talk with the Some Shady Guy NPC during the night and answer three questions to open the door to enter the Bazaar.
