How to Finish the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum

The reward is well worth it!

To finish the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum, you will have to find the Intelligence, Strength and the Masked Hollow Man Extracts. The first of them is acquired when finishing the tutorial, the second when you defeat the Crocodile King boss who is located in the Swamp, and the third once you kill the secret boss that randomly spawns somewhere in the Soul Society outskirts. Once you have done all of this, you must place the extracts in their corresponding statues. A portal will appear when you do so, where you will be able to refund your individual skills for free!

Finishing the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum can be very difficult. This is because the quest takes quite a long time to complete since you need to complete quite a lengthy setup that involves fighting several tricky bosses and collecting their extracts. In some cases, even getting to said bosses can be tough since the environment itself will be trying to kill you. With that being said, below is our detailed guide on how to finish this grueling quest, so stick around to find out.

How to Unlock the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum

If you want to finish the Mystery Statue quest in VV Ultimatum, you will have to unlock it first. To do this, keep heading straight forward from the Sweetwater Pass initial spawn point, and keep doing so until you have encountered an NPC called Clint. He will be standing across the road from three large statues and a fallen tree trunk that leads to a broken staircase. Speak to him, and he will give you the quest.

If you cannot see the quest dialogue when talking to Clint, do not panic, as you probably are not a high enough level to initiate it yet. To actually get the dialogue, you have to become at least level 15. Once you have done so, speak to him again, and you should be able to see the aforementioned dialogue. While we have thoroughly covered what you need to do in our VV Ultimatum beginner's guide, you should know that the quickest way to become the required level is to simply complete every other available quest from Sweetwater Pass, while focusing on main story quests since they award the most XP. Defeating enemies in battle will also help you become level 15.

What do I Need to Do to Finish the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum?

Collecting Extracts in VV Ultimatum

To finish the Mystery Statue Quest in VV Ultimatum, you need to find and collect three extracts while playing the game. They are the Intelligence Extract, Strength Extract, and the Masked Hollow Man Extract. Once you have done this, place each extract in its corresponding statue, the one where the Clint NPC is located. After doing so, a secret portal will appear on the ground in front of them, and you will be able to proceed to your reward.

The extracts themselves are basically blue, green, and orange colored orbs that emit powerful light. They also have the "Quest Item" label attached to them, so you will certainly know it when you have acquired them.

Where are the Extracts Needed for the Mystery Statue Quest?

There are three extracts that you need to collect to finish the Mystery Statue Quest. The first one, the Intelligence Extract, is a blue orb obtained after you finish the tutorial. The second, the Strength Extract, can be found as a drop after defeating the Crocodile King boss in the Swamp area, and looks like a green glowing orb. The third and final extract, called the Masked Hollow Man extract, is an orange orb obtainable after killing a secret boss that randomly spawns somewhere in the Soul Society Outskirts.

Some noteworthy things you should keep in mind during this part are:

  • You still get the Intelligence Extract regardless of whether or not you have defeated the tutorial end boss, Gelum. This means you do not have to fight him; just skip that part when the helpful spirit asks you to. However, it is still recommended to fight him anyway since other rewards you get for defeating him are quite good, and you will get the chance of getting used to the basic control layout of the game, which should definitely be useful down the line.
  • The quest to unlock the Crocodile King boss fight can only be acquired once you are level 35. This means that completing the Mystery Statue Quest will take quite a while, so do not be alarmed if you keep seeing it in your quest journal time and time again. Furthermore, accessing the swamp area itself is only possible once you have acquired the respirator, since you would otherwise die very quickly from the toxic fumes that the swamp is brimming with.
  • Once the secret boss that randomly spawns somewhere in the Soul Society outskirts actually generates, a server-wide text prompt will appear, saying that "a big Hollow has appeared", which should be your cue to immediately drop whatever you were doing up to that point and start looking for him, as it is still unknown how often he respawns and when will you get another chance to fight him.

This is extremely useful in VV Ultimatum, as otherwise you would have to reset the entire skill tree with Robux.
