This Beginner's guide for Roblox Paint and Seek concerns about what the best methods for farming money are, where the best hiding locations are and what is in the game's shops. When it comes to farming money, the best method is to win games and stay alive the longest / kill players and watch ads and play the obby during the time between games. The best locations are the ones where you can blend in the environment seamlessly such as yellow walls on the Backrooms and the grey cliffside on the Island map. Regarding the shops, they either sell unique knife skins or special VIP privileges.
Paint and Seek is a fun Roblox experience where you either have to hide, survive, and avoid the Seekers for a couple of minutes if you are the Hider, or hunt down the Hiders if you are playing as the Seeker. The Seekers can also paint themselves, allowing them to blend into the environment and adding a twist to this game. Since the experience does little to explain the best hiding and painting strategies, among other things, we have decided to create this comprehensive beginner's guide to help anyone who needs it. Following the steps we will describe will allow you to become the best Paint and Seek player there is, so keep reading!
How to Farm Money in Paint and Seek

To farm money most efficiently in Paint and Seek, always first try to win as either a Hider or a Seeker. Doing this will net you the most money. If you cannot manage to do that, make sure to survive for as long as possible as the Hider, or kill as many Hiders as you can when playing as a Seeker. Regardless of whether you have successfully completed the previous steps, always make sure to complete the obby and watch ads between game sessions. Doing this will net you 20 and 67 coins, respectively.
It obviously goes without saying that winning a game of Paint or Seek will net you the most money, as well as the most XP, even more so when playing as a Hider, so you should strive to do that. However, if you find yourself in a lobby full of competent players or are simply having a bad day and cannot win no matter what you do, surviving for as long as possible will do you a great service since the amount of money that you earn increases the more you manage to stay alive. Even after you have been found and seemingly removed from the game, do not despair! You can always re-join the same game as a Seeker, allowing you to increase your cash flow even further by hunting down some of the remaining Hiders and ideally winning by killing all of them.
However, the main twist when it comes to farming money comes into play when choosing how you spend your downtime between games. Namely, there is a short, easy obby located in the game's lobby that takes roughly 15 seconds to complete and rewards you with 20 coins. It has a cooldown period of 5 minutes, so you should be able to complete it after one longer-lasting game or two shorter ones. Furthermore, ads can also be watched for a reward of 67 coins per ad. Since they usually last for 30 seconds, doing the two aforementioned actions will just about fill up the time between games, allowing you to really maximize your profits. Rinse and repeat, and you will find yourself rich in no time.
Additionally, there are quests that you can keep track of in the top right corner of your screen. They periodically refresh and are usually easy to complete, requiring you to perform only regular gameplay actions, such as playing the game a certain number of times or with a specific number of players. When completed, they reward a hefty sum, so always be on the lookout for them.
Lastly, when playing as a Hider, you can taunt the seekers by pressing Q. Doing so will give you 10 coins per taunt, and it has a short cooldown of only 5 seconds. However, use this ability at your own risk, since the seekers will be alerted to your approximate position via audio tracking, and they will hear it more loudly the closer they are to you. Alternatively, to earn money, you can also redeem some of the free codes that the game offers.
Best Hiding Locations in Paint and Seek

The best hiding locations in Paint and Seek are the ones where you can seamlessly blend into the environment. The best examples of these are the yellow walls on the Backrooms map and the grey cliffside on the Island map. Furthermore, the tactic of hiding in plain sight should not be overlooked, since most players do not even bother clearing the most obvious positions, thinking nobody is crazy enough to actually use them. The main stage on the Party map perfectly fits this description.
Regardless of which position you choose to utilize, there are several key mechanics that you must know about. Mastering them will allow you to take your game to the next level and open up many possibilities in determining which positions are viable and which are not.
The first core game feature you must be aware of is the painting pipette, which lets you copy any color from anywhere in the environment. It is located underneath the color palette under the Painting button, and has the "copy any color" text attached to it. Selecting it and clicking anywhere on the map will immediately give you the exact color straight from where you clicked, allowing to absorb that color just like a chameleon! Get used to utilizing it as often as you can, as the only alternative is to manually find the colors from the palette, which is time-consuming and very difficult.
The second hiding mechanic to look out for is the lock stand ability. This is extremely important as even when standing still, player models naturally move by a tiny amount. Even though tiny, any movement significantly stands out and all but guarantees a quick death. Activating this ability will allow you to stand perfectly still and turn the camera as you see fit, so you always know where the seekers are.
Lastly, a feature that often gets overlooked is the ability to change positions while hiding. It allows you to crouch, T-pose, and even completely lie down on the ground. This mechanic is great because most seekers will look out for the traditional upright Roblox player outline while hunting, so utilizing this feature works well against that habit. However, do keep in mind that you can only change positions once your stance is unlocked, so only do it when you are absolutely certain you are safe.
What to Buy From the Shop

There are two main shops in this game. The "regular" shop can be found in the corner of the game lobby or can be accessed via the red shopping cart button on the left side of the screen. The items it sells can only be purchased for Robux. The Crate Shop is located in the other corner of the lobby and sells special knife skin containers, this time for regular coins.
The only items currently obtainable inside Paint and Seek are the knife skins, which will change the appearance of the knife you use when playing as a Seeker. The skins come in different rarities, with the better ones being harder to obtain. They are acquired either through the crates from the Crate Shop, by leveling up, or by purchasing them from the Shop. They are purely cosmetic and offer no gameplay changes.
