How Do You Start the Alien's Revenge Event in 99 Nights in the Forest?

The Alien's Revenge event begins automatically on Night 3, the same trigger point as the previous Aliens event. A cutscene plays showing multiple UFOs crashing near the campfire. Once the cutscene ends, your first objective is to repair the Command Ship sitting among the wreckage by gathering 5 Alien Batteries.

Alien Batteries are green cylindrical items found on Alien Outposts scattered across the map. If you have a map item, Alien Outposts will show up as marked locations, making it significantly easier to plan your route before heading out.

Repairing the Command Ship requires collecting 5 Alien Batteries from anywhere on the map and depositing them into the ship's open hood near the campfire. There are four distinct ways to find batteries, each with a different risk and effort level.

1. Alien Sites: These function like a passive loot drop. An alien chest and battery sit underneath the structure with no mobs guarding them. You can walk up and collect both without fighting anything.

2. Alien Outposts: The more common outpost type, featuring a large tower guarded by multiple alien mobs. You need to clear out the guards first, then climb to the top of the tower to collect the battery and alien chest.

3. Alien Ponds: Look for green-colored mutated ponds across the map. Fishing in these ponds has a chance to fetch Alien Batteries directly, making them a useful source if you're already fishing for other resources.

4. Alien Drops: These are blue-colored launch pads. Defeat alien mobs and bring 3 corpses to the pad. Once all three are submitted, a green light shines over the pad and replaces the corpses with an alien chest and battery as a reward.

Once you've gathered all 5 Alien Batteries, return to the Command Ship near the campfire and place them in the open hood. After all 5 are deposited, the ship repairs itself, lifts off the ground, and a green light beam shines underneath it. Walk into the green light to start levitating upward. This is how you board the Command Ship.

Once aboard the Command Ship, you'll find it crawling with alien NPCs. The most common enemies are Alien Engineers (green, melee damage) and Alien Troopers (purple, ranged damage). Clear these out as you move through each section.

The enemies you specifically need to target and collect corpses from are:

  • Alien Commander (orange, ranged damage)
  • Alien Scout (small blue, melee damage)

Their corpses are required to open the doors blocking your path deeper into the ship. Each door has a face-scanning mechanism that needs one of these specific corpses to unlock. Bring the right corpse to the right door to progress.

Repeat this process to clear all three side rooms on the ship. Once cleared, you'll reach the main room on the next floor, where you need to defeat approximately 5 more aliens. Defeating them unlocks the large chest, which drops high-tier loot such as the Alien Shotgun, Dissolve Ray, and various blueprints.

After looting the chest, head to the green door with the option "Teleport to Earth" in the same room. Walking through it completes the Alien's Revenge event and returns you safely to the forest.
