As of July 2026, there are 22 Anomalies in Home Alone on Roblox. The best way to figure out which visitor has bad intentions is to take into account a few things: if what they are saying is strange or suspicious, if the voice does not fit the face and/or is distorted, strange noises once they knock, and, most importantly, the CCTV on the laptop. Make sure to check all the cameras and turn them on and off so you don't miss any detail.
If you're a fan of jump scares and games that require all your senses to be sharpened to the max, Roblox Home Alone is definitely an experience you should give a try! This Home Alone Walkthrough helps you figure out the most important aspects of the game: the chores, sanity, and, of course, the most important thing - Anomalies. If you're unsure who to let into the house, we've got you covered with this article.
How to Compete Chores in Home Alone

One of the main points of Home Alone is to complete all the chores your mom gives you by the end of the night so that you can progress in the game and move forward with the story. Each chore earns a specific amount of money, and you need to collect $160 to clear the level. This sounds easy, but you'll constantly be interrupted by people knocking on the front door. Oh, and many random jump scares. Once you start memorizing all the visitors, you'll spend less time checking whether they are evil, which will leave more time to complete the chores. Here is the complete chore list:
- Clean Your Room - Walk over to the first room in the hallway on the left side of the house. This is your bedroom, and you have to collect toys scattered on the floor and place them back in the toy box.
- Clean Your Parents' Room - Next to your room, at the end of the hallway, is your Parents' Bedroom. The task is to collect clothes from the floor and the bed and place them in the laundry basket.
- Make Coffee - Take the coffee box from the kitchen island and place it inside the coffee maker that's next to the kitchen sink. There will be two arrows on the right, and your job is to keep the temperature perfect until it's brewed.
- Cook Tomorrow's Lunch - There are multiple steps to completing this one: pick up the pasta pan, fill it with water, place it on the stove, set the temperature and keep it that way, and lastly, place the lunch in the fridge.
- Do the Dishes - A stack of plates will appear on the kitchen island, and you have to pick up each one individually and wash it.
- Clean the Kitchen - To complete this chore, pick up the squirt bottle from the island and walk around to clean all the stains.
- Clear Spider Webs - Inspect all the doorways in the house and clean the webs.
- Clean the Windows - This one is easy, just walk close to each window and interact with it to scrub the dirt away.
- Water the Plants - Turn your camera right from the front door, and you will see a watering can below the window. Pick it up and walk around the house to water all the houseplants.
How to Spot All Anomalies in Home Alone
Make sure to activate all your senses if you want to see through the deception and figure out all the Anomalies in Home Alone. The best way to spot them is to constantly check the CCTV on your laptop, pay close attention to what the visitors say, and listen to how their voices sound. If you hear a creepy sound, it's really a no-brainer that you should not let them in under any circumstances. In case you're still having a hard time figuring out who's good and who's out to creep you out, we compiled a list of all the visitors and what you should look out for.
Break-up Girl
This visitor will knock on your door sobbing about her boyfriend leaving her. Check the camera on your laptop, and if she has a creepy grin on footage, do not let her in.
Man with Lost Dog
This dude knocks on your door and says that his dog escaped and ran to our yard. If he is good, the CCTV will show a doggo actually chilling in the yard, and this is when it's okay to let him in. However, if the footage shows him on all fours in the backyard, acting like a dog, he is an Anomaly!
Influencer Kid
This little guy wants to be let in so he can record something live for his chat. If his voice is distorted and creepy, you know what to do.
Plumber
The plumber tells you that there is a leaking bath faucet. To figure out whether he is a normal human or a demon, go to the bathroom and check if it is really leaking. If there is nothing happening in the bathroom, don't let him enter the house.
Ballerina
You can tell right away that she is an Anomaly. She drags her words in a creepy way, and more often than not, her knocking on the door is accompanied by a creepy jingle.
Police Officer
His story is that the police are on the lookout for a criminal, and if you make the mistake of letting him in, he turns out to be that criminal. Never let him in, he is always an Anomaly.
Lost Kid
A little girl will tell you that she is lost and needs to use the phone. Check the CCTV on the laptop for this one! If she looks normal on video, open the door and give her your phone from the bedroom so she can call her mom. However, if she is evil, she will look like a giant on camera.
Girl not Feeling Well
Back to the laptop for this one! If she is an Anomaly, the video will show her head constantly turning in different directions, in an unnatural way. Her voice is also kinda strange, all breathy.
Firefighter
He tells you that the neighbors reported smoke coming from your house. Check the stove, and if there is no smoke, do not let him enter.
Elderly Man Looking for His Daughter
Listen to what he is saying, how he sounds, and if there are any creepy sounds or music jump scares. If nothing odd is happening, let him in. He just looks a bit creepy.
Vampire
I mean, we all know what happens if you let a Vampire inside the house, right? Never, ever allow him to enter and you're good.
Drunk Sad Lady
Although she sounds a bit weird, if there are no follow-up noises and the laptop's CCTV looks normal, let her in and help her.
Homeless Man
He knocks on the door and asks for some food. To figure out if he's evil, check the cameras again! If he is an Anomaly, your front porch will look empty.
FBI Agent
The FBI Agent explains that they are looking into aliens. Well, lo and behold, the CCTV reveals that he is, in fact, an alien himself.
Math Kid
This little dude always needs to be checked on the laptop. If he is an Anomaly, he will break one of your cameras. This sucks because it will remain broken until the end of the night.
Karen
She comes fuming and accuses the cameras of pointing at her house and yard. Unfortunately, if she sounds like a regular Karen and looks normal on video, you should let her in.
Cat Girl
This visitor is the stuff of nightmares. She explains that her cat ran away and is in our parents' bedroom. Notice that she keeps saying that her cat has black fur. When you walk to the bedroom to check, you will definitely see a cat, but she will be a different color. On your way back, you get blessed with a jump scare, so definitely do not let her enter.
Friendly Neighbor
His face looks insane on camera when you check, and the things he's saying sound extra suspicious. Just turn off the porch light and keep doing chores.
Dude that Needs to Pee
He looks all awkward and asks if he can use the bathroom to pee. Check the cameras, and if he looks way taller on video, let him do his business outside.
Gym Bro
This one is kinda hilarious if he is an Anomaly. His voice sounds super high pitched and distorted, and this will be the red flag you're looking for.
Wifi Kid
This little boy asks to be let into the house due to an emergency - that being that he needs the Wi-Fi. If he is another Anomaly, when you check the cameras, you will hear strange, clicking sounds. If this is the case, he can watch his videos elsewhere.
Water Company Guy
The water company guy wants to enter the house because there is a problem with brown water on the entire block. If he is telling the truth, there will be brown water leaking from the kitchen sink.
How to Keep Your Sanity in Home Alone

To keep your sanity intact in Home Alone, you need to excel at figuring out who to let inside and who to turn off the porch light for. Whenever you make the mistake of letting an Anomaly in, your sanity drops and things turn weird around the house: scary monsters appear, you start hallucinating and hearing sounds frequently, the furniture gets destroyed, and symbols and graffiti appear on walls.
To make sure you have enough Sanity for all nights, the best thing to do is to go to the Merchant in the Lobby and purchase some of the items that boost this stat. You can buy things by using the money you collected during the night in the game.
Now that you know what to look for in a visitor, we hope you make it until morning to collect Mom's allowance! If you're looking for more creepy stuff to play, make sure to check out All Animal Hospital Anomalies and Codes.
