How to switch Psychic Abilities in Psychonauts 2

Raz and the Psychonauts crew are back in Psychonauts 2. Raz is up to his typical hijinks, hopping in minds and rewriting brains. He'll need all the tools at his disposal to overcome the challenges in Psychonauts 2, meaning Raz should know how to swap abilities on the fly.

To swap Psychic abilities, press up on the d-pad once Raz has access to several psychic powers. Once players have opened up the power menu, they can rotate the right stick to select the power they’d like to add to their Hotbar. Once the desired psychic ability is selected, press one of the four ability buttons to map the power to that button.

Players can use this option to swap abilities to fit player needs or map powers to more comfortable hotkeys. These abilities can be changed at any point during the game by repeating this process. Certain levels will require Raz to use different abilities to overcome unique obstacles over the course of the game.

Make sure to make use of the power swap bar as often as necessary. Psychonauts 2 will push Raz to his limits, meaning each ability will be necessary at some point in the game.
