Undertale and Deltarune fans love the newly released update for the game, Deltarune Chapter 2. But with the game launching windowed as default and no in-game option to go fullscreen, it can be hard to figure out how to maximize the screen.
Fullscreen on Steam and Windows
If you have the game on Steam or Windows, there’s a simple way of making the game fullscreen. I if you’re running the game directly from Windows (if you downloaded the game from itch.io, this is how it will be running), load the game. Then, when the game is fully loaded and launched, press Alt+Enter and the game should go fullscreen.Â
If you want to escape out of the fullscreen view at any point, repeat the Alt+Enter command. Alternatively, you can press Alt+Tab to change the active program in Windows.
This method also works for the Steam version of the game. As usual, load up Deltarune Chapters 1+2 in Steam, press Alt+Enter, and the game will maximize to fullscreen. Just like the previous method, you can escape fullscreen by pressing Alt+Enter or Alt+Tab.
Fullscreen in Mac OSX
If you’re playing the game on Mac OSX, you can still play the game on fullscreen. First, load the game as usual. Once it’s completely loaded press Command+Control+F. This forces the game to move to fullscreen. To return to a smaller window, repeat the Command+Control+F combination.
