Five Nights at Freddy's was first released in 2014 and took the internet by storm. Since its first game, the series has seen numerous games, merchandise, novels, and even a film at one point. These games include mainline games as well as spin-offs. One such game is Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.
While the game was first announced in 2019, it has finally been given a solid release date. Sony's PlayStation State of Play on October 27 showed off the game as well as a release date of December 16, 2021. It will be released on PS4 and PS5. You can take a look at the trailer below.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach continues the series tradition of having a security guard stuck in the establishment after it closes. During the night, the animatronics come to life and attempt to kill the player. The player has all new tools and methods at their disposal to try and survive.
These include utilizing light and sound to distract Freddy and his fellow animatronics. They can even climb into an animatronic suit themselves to disguise their fleshy appearance. The trailer showcased many of the animatronics as well as a larger area. Players will need to keep moving if they want to make it to the morning.
