How to get different colored Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom

Pikmin Bloom is Niantic's latest project, and it combines AR with Nintendo's Pikmin to bring adorable creatures to life. There are various Pikmin to find in the game, but to get them to follow you and join your army of cuteness, you will first need to grow them.

All colors of Pikmin are grown by planting seedlings and walking around. Your steps will cause them to grow, and you can pluck them to add them to your collection. So to get different colored Pikmin, you will need different seedlings. There are a couple of different ways to get seedlings.

The first is to find them while you are out walking around simply. This is the easiest method and also doubles as growing your planted Pikmin. Leveling up your character will also occasionally reward you with seedlings. Lastly, you can send your Pikmin out on expeditions to bring back more seedlings.

What kind of seedling you get seems to be random, so the best way to get different colored Pikmin is to check out different places. New places may give you colors of Pikmin that you do not have already. So get out there and make lots of new Pikmin friends!
