How to Evolve Clamperl

There are two different ways to evolve Clamperl, and depending on which one you choose, you will either get Huntail or Gorebyss. Here is how to get each evolution when trading:

• Huntail: Trade a Clamperl holding a Deep Sea Tooth.
• Gorebyss: Trade a Clamperl holding a Deep Sea Scale.

Both of these items can be obtained through digging in the Grand Underground or in Pokemon Hideaways. Note that these are rarer items and will take much longer to find than the common gems.

The best nature for Huntail is Naughty and the best nature for Gorebyss is Modest. If you are looking to use them in battle, the White Herb is the best item for both Huntail and Gorebyss to hold.
