How to Remodel Villager Homes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

How to remodel villager homes

You will not be able to remodel homes until you have completed thirty vacation homes in Happy Home Paradise. Once you have met this quota, Tom Nook will tell you that he is now offering a remodel service when you next go to Resident Services.

You simply need to tell Tom Nook you'd like to remodel the villager's home of your choice and present him with 9,000 bells to cover the cost. You will get paid 1,000 Nook Mile points for each remodel, but you won't receive them until the next day. Likewise, the remodel won't take effect until the next morning's announcement.

What You Can and Can't do When Remodling Villagers Homes

Villager home remodeling is limited; here is what you can and can't do:

  • You can't change the room size.
  • You can change the look of the exterior.
  • You can change the furniture and music in their room.
  • You can remodel as many homes as you want in a day.
