Where do you get pumpkins in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

Find Nook's Cranny or talk to Leif in October to get pumpkins in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. For Nook's Cranny, head to the seed area in the miscellaneous section and buy the pumpkin starter for 250 bells. If Leif is at your plaza, you can talk to him, and he should have the pumpkin start available for 140 bells.

Where to find Leif to buy pumpkin seeds in ACNH

Leif is the better option because he sells them for much cheaper. However, Leif is not always available on the island. If you have unlocked Leif on Harv's Island, you can travel there to get some from him. If you haven't unlocked his shop there, you'll have to wait and try to catch him in the plaza between 5am and 10pm any day.

How to grow pumpkins in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Follow the instructions below on how to grow pumpkins in ACNH to enjoy sweet pies that taste like childhood.

  1. Take the pumpkin start seeds from your inventory.
  2. Plant pumpkin seeds in the desired spot on the ground. Ensure they're in an area you'll remember, as you must return and water them daily.
  3. You will have a harvestable pumpkin in about four days if you've watered them regularly or if it rained.

How to choose a color for pumpkins in ACNH

Pumpkins grow into four colors: orange, green, yellow, and white. The color of pumpkins in ACNH is random, so you'll have to wait and see what you get when it grows. These gourds are used in fun, festive recipes to obtain new items.
