When is Windjammers 2 release date?

Let's hope there's not another 25 year wait for Windjammers 3!

Nearly 25 years later, Windjammers has a proper sequel coming out on Jan. 20, 2022. The game will be available on Windows 10 and 11, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Stadia but cross play won't be available for every port.

Features

The game boasts a selection of 10 playable characters that can be chosen for single and multiplayer. Both online and local multiplayer are available, however, most ports will only be able to play with others on the same platform. Cross play will be available for the Xbox One and Microsoft Windows versions of the game with no word on whether more platforms will be able to do the same. An Arcade Mode has been added, making a championship bracket with several matches in a row available to play.
