The Waylanders gives players a way to check out their abilities and acquire more as they level up. Keep in mind that this is an indie game with only eight active and two passive abilities per class.

All passive and active abilities for Warrior

  • Strike - Hit your enemy. Generates Fury.
  • Cleave - Swing your weapon, striking all enemies in an arc. Consumes all Fury.
  • Berserker Aegis - Temporarily shield yourself from attacks, boosting your Aegis. Consumes all Fury.
  • Devastate - Hit the enemy with a monstrous blow. Consumes all Fury.
  • Roar - Bellow at your foes.
  • Grapple- Grapple Grab an enemy, triggering a Grapple. While Grappled, neither you nor your enemy can move or attack. Enemies who can't be Grappled will be damaged and knocked down instead.
  • Titan - (Passive) Your years of training have hardened your muscles, giving you more Strength than most.
  • Reaver - (Passive) You rip the life force from every enemy you kill, and use it to temporarily protect yourself from harm.

All passive and active abilities for Guardian

  • Sunder - Damage your enemy's defenses, leaving them vulnerable to the next attack. Generates Fury.
  • Shield Bash - Slam your shield into the enemy, throwing them to the ground. Applies Knockdown. Consumes all Fury.
  • Deflect - Temporarily intercept projectiles and reduce all incoming damage. Consumes all Fury.
  • Serrated Mark - Turn the sharp edges of your armor on your foes, damaging all nearby enemies. Consumes all Fury.
  • Focused Discipline - Concentrate on your attacks. You will temporarily generate more Fury.
  • Taunt - Draw the attention of all nearby enemies. Generates Fury.
  • Fortress - (Passive) Your intense physical training has made you tough, giving you more Constitution than most.
  • Last Stand - (Passive) The greater your injuries, the less damage you take.

All passive and active abilities for Rogue

  • Gouge - Stab the enemy and twist the blade, making them bleed.
  • Ash Bomb - Injure and blind nearby enemies, preventing their next attack from connecting.
  • Execution - Deal a savage blow to the enemy, doing more damage if they have negative status effects.
  • Bramble Bomb - Hit the enemy with a thorny bundle of magickal vines, rooting them in place. Can be used multiple times.
  • Assassin's Eye - Coldly assess the weaknesses of your enemies, temporarily increasing your Logic.
  • Roll - Tumble to a new position.
  • Catlike - (Passive) You are limber and quick, with higher Agility than most people.
  • Evasion - (Passive) Your quick wits and nimble feet make it harder for enemies to hit you.

  • Eagle Strike - Strike your enemy and retreat to a place of your choosing.
  • Piercing Shot - Fire a single, careful shot through your target and anything behind it.
  • Quickshot - Swiftly fire twice at your target.
  • Volley - Loose a rain of projectiles, hitting an enemy several times.
  • Trinity - Fire three projectiles in a cone, hitting any enemies in your line of fire.
  • Archer's Eye - Focus on the weaknesses of your enemies, temporarily increasing your Critical Chance.
  • Battlefield Awareness - (Passive) You have keen eyes and sharp hearing. Your Perception is higher than most people's.
  • Animal Companion - (Passive) You can control an animal companion in combat.

All passive and active abilities for Sorceror

  • Rune of Razors - Summon a rune on the ground, dealing periodic damage to any enemies in the area.
  • Rune of Combustion - Summon a rune on the ground. It will explode when an enemy approaches or when the rune expires. Up to three may be placed at one time.
  • Magickal Bolt - Blast your enemy with magickal force, injuring them and nearby foes.
  • Arcana Wave - Hurl a wave of force that damages and stuns everything in its path.
  • Teleport - Instantly move to a new position.
  • Channel Magick - Regenerate your Mana by concentrating. Last until another spell is cast or the duration ends.
  • Sage - (Passive) Your long years of study have raised your intelligence.
  • Mystical Efficiency - (Passive) The first spells you cast in combat cost less Mana.

  • Ring the Restoration - Create a circle of healing energies, continuously healing all within.
  • Regrowth - Regenerate your Mana over time.
  • Vortex - Wound an enemy with magickal force, slowing their movement and attacks. 
  • Heal - Envelop the target in magickal water, restoring their Health.
  • Summon the Wild - Call a spiritual guardian to your aid.
  • Transform - Turn all enemies in the chosen area into a harmless animal. While in this form, their stats are reduced.
  • Focus - (Passive) Your years of peaceful meditation have increased your willpower.
  • Rising Wave - (Passive) Repeated spellcasting raises your Logic. This effect stack lasts until the end of combat.

There are three companions, Delba, Rea, and Traste, that have their own classes. Like the standard classes, these companion classes have eight active and two passive abilities.

All passive and active abilities for Fomorian Champion (Delba)

  • Quartz Crush - Hammer an enemy with your weapon, damaging them and any foe nearby.
  • Song of Stone - Sing a song of the deep earth, raising the physical defenses of your allies and drawing your enemies' attention.
  • Shooting Star - Hurl a stony projectile at an enemy. On collision, it will shatter, damaging any enemies behind the target.
  • Light in the Deep - Generate an aura that heals allies.
  • Throttle - Grab an enemy, and steal their life for your own.
  • Wild Growth - Call vines from the earth to root enemies surrounding you.
  • Driven - (Passive) You've been arguing with stubborn immortals your entire life, giving you more Intelligence and Willpower than most people, immortal or otherwise.
  • Nigh Immortal - (Passive) Once per combat, you can shrug off a fatal blow and all damage for a short period of time.

All passive and active abilities for Daughter of Lug (Rea)

  • Rip and Tear - Lash out with your claws, hitting the enemy twice. Generates Fury.
  • Feral Howl - Roar, inflicting Fear on nearby enemies. Consumes all Fury.
  • Swipe - Claw all enemies in a chosen direction, making them foteed. Generates Fury.
  • Lunge - Leap at an enemy, knocking them down. Generates Fury.
  • Draw Blood - Claw your chest, losing Health to generate Fury.
  • Go for the Throat - Tear at your enemy's throat and consume their Health to heal your wounds. Consumes all Fury.
  • Alpha Predator - (Passive) You have hunted to survive your entire life, giving you more Strength and Constitution than most.
  • Bloody Feast - (Passive) Bleeding enemies restore your Health.

All passive and active abilities for Trickster (Traste)

  • Glowy BOOM - Fling a Wisp wherever you want. If it hits bad people, they go BOOM. If not, the Wisp goes BOOM far away.
  • Summon Wisp - Call more Wisps from wherever Wisps come from.
  • Summon Shooty Thing - Call a thing that shoots glowy things at bad people.
  • Slippery Wisp - Fling a Wisp where you want. If it hits bad people, they are disarmed, and the Wisp disappears. If not, the Wisp just disappears.
  • Wake the Thing - Poke the Thing in your bag. It wakes up and spits stuff on bad people.
  • Go to Friends - Use magick to go to friends. Hello friends!
  • Sneaky Devil - (Passive) You are good at sneaking and spotting good places to play tricks, giving you more Agility and Perception than most.
  • Friends! - (Passive) Every few seconds, a Wisp appears near you. They can be used as ammunition for certain abilities, or can explode, damaging a target.
